2015年，新加坡2位資深I(lǐng)T企業(yè)家John Fearon & Dr. Mark Hon為了給新加坡當(dāng)?shù)赝饧耸孔优慕逃峁└玫姆?wù)及改善外籍子女上學(xué)成本高的問題，創(chuàng)辦了Invictus International School。
2018年，新加坡Invictus國(guó)際學(xué)校榮獲新加坡十大頂尖國(guó)際學(xué)校的榮譽(yù)。
時(shí)至今日，新加坡Invictus國(guó)際學(xué)校已發(fā)展成為在新加坡?lián)碛?所校區(qū)、香港2所校區(qū)、柬埔寨1所校區(qū)。
In 2015, two senior IT entrepreneurs in Singapore, John Fearon and Dr. Mark Hon, founded Invictus International School to better serve the education for the children of local expatriates in Singapore and improve the problem of high cost of attending school.
In 2018, Singapore Invictus International School was named ‘The 10 Best International Schools in Singapore‘.
Today, Singapore Invictus International School has grown into a campus with 3 campuses in Singapore, 2 campuses in Hong Kong and 1 in Cambodia.

4.新加坡校區(qū)中文課程
Mandarin Lessons in Singapore Campuses
以學(xué)生為中心Student-centered
在新加坡 Dempsy Hill登普西山校區(qū)，每周會(huì)有3節(jié)中文課：周二、周三、周四。
登普西山校區(qū)的中文學(xué)習(xí)以學(xué)生為中心。學(xué)生通過唱歌、地毯時(shí)間、賓果、漢語(yǔ)耳語(yǔ)、看圖說詞、小組討論、演講、訪談或角色扮演等不同課堂活動(dòng)，積極投入課堂。這些活動(dòng)讓我們的學(xué)生通過應(yīng)用概念和新知識(shí)來加深對(duì)中文的理解。其中許多活動(dòng)也給更好地老師提供對(duì)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)進(jìn)步的反饋。
Mandarin class frequency: 3 lessons a week, Tues, Wed, Fri
Mandarin learning at Dempsey is student-centred. Students are motivated and engaged in class through different class activities such as singing of songs, carpet time, bingo, Chinese whisper, Pictionary, group discussions, presentations, interviews or role playing, etc. Each activity mentioned provides our students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of Mandarin by applying concepts and new knowledge. Many of these activities also provide the teacher with feedback regarding the students’progress.
分層教學(xué) Differentiated Teaching
此外，我們還努力通過應(yīng)用不同的教學(xué)方法和適當(dāng)?shù)慕虒W(xué)策略，提高學(xué)生的 4 種中文技能：聽力、口語(yǔ)、閱讀和寫作。為了讓學(xué)生更好地學(xué)習(xí)掌握中文，所有G3-G6年級(jí)的學(xué)生都分為三個(gè)階段。為確保所有學(xué)生都能掌握各自的目標(biāo)和成長(zhǎng)，我們進(jìn)行差異化分層教學(xué)和提供工藝課程，為每個(gè)學(xué)生提供與之相匹配的支持和挑戰(zhàn)。
Additionally, we strive to improve our students’ 4 skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) by applying diverse teaching approaches and appropriate teaching strategies. To better suit the learning of students with varying levels of mastery of Mandarin, all students from Grade 3-6 are streamed into three phases (phase 1-3). To ensure that all students can master their individual objectives and grow, we conduct differentiation in teaching and craft lessons that provide the right amount of support and challenge for every student.
ECA
在課堂上運(yùn)用交互式的學(xué)習(xí)策略可以豐富教育，使學(xué)生感到更有動(dòng)力和興趣。我們將 Quizlet、Quizizz 和 Gimkit等技術(shù)集成到課堂中，以鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生參與和互動(dòng)。除了日常中文課程，中文教師每周舉辦三次中文ECA，以滿足學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)中文的額外需求。
Using interactive learning strategies in class enriches education and makes students feel more motivated and interested. We integrate technology such as Quizlet, Quizizz and Gimkit into the classroom to encourage participation and interaction. Besides normal lessons, Mandarin department teachers also conduct Mandarin ECA three times per week to meet the extra needs of students learning Mandarin.
注重中國(guó)文化傳播
Chinese Culture Appreciation
除了漢語(yǔ)教學(xué)外，我們還注重中國(guó)文化的傳播。我們每年與學(xué)生一起慶祝春節(jié)、中秋節(jié)和端午節(jié)等中國(guó)節(jié)日。學(xué)生通過觀看視頻和品嘗傳統(tǒng)食物來了解傳統(tǒng)背后的故事，同時(shí)，學(xué)生每年還將參加春節(jié)聯(lián)歡晚會(huì)。通過這些活動(dòng)，學(xué)生更好地了解中國(guó)文化，提高學(xué)習(xí)漢語(yǔ)的熱情。
去年，我們還在學(xué)校舉辦了第一屆漢字書寫比賽，以提高學(xué)生對(duì)漢字書寫的鑒賞力。明年，我們將在學(xué)校舉辦第一屆漢語(yǔ)閱讀比賽。
我們將努力培養(yǎng)和保持學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)漢語(yǔ)的熱情和對(duì)中國(guó)文化的欣賞。
在新加坡Invictus校區(qū)，每個(gè)學(xué)生都享受著這樣豐富有趣的中文課。這種獨(dú)具特色的中文課程及雙語(yǔ)教育，促進(jìn)了孩子中文能力的提升。不僅僅受到新加坡學(xué)生的喜歡，也備受家長(zhǎng)們的推崇。
Besides the teaching of the Chinese language, we also focus on the spreading of Chinese culture. We celebrate Chinese Festivals every year with students. Students learn the stories behind the traditions by watching relevant videos and tasting traditional food. Every year, every student participates in our Chinese New Year Gala show.
Last year, we organized the 1st Chinese Character Handwriting Contest in school to enhance our students’ appreciation of Chinese writing. Next year, we will organize the 1st Chinese Reading Contest at the school.
We would like to do our best to cultivate and maintain our students’ passion in learning Mandarin and their appreciation towards Chinese culture.
In Singapore Invictus campus, students enjoys a variety of interesting Chinese lessons. The unique Chinese curriculum and bilingual education has highly improved students' Chinese language skills.
