勇闖西班牙丨瑞得福西語(yǔ)班學(xué)生的語(yǔ)言、文化沉浸式體驗(yàn)之旅

今年1月，五名Spanish 3的同學(xué)和兩位外教組成的團(tuán)隊(duì)前往西班牙進(jìn)行了為期10天的體驗(yàn)學(xué)習(xí)。

This January, a group of five Spanish 3 students and two teachers traveled to Spain for 10 days as part of the first ever Language and Culture Immersion Experience at RDF International School. The students spent the first half of their Chinese New Year holiday traveling to various cities in Spain, from Madrid to Barcelona.

今年1月，瑞得福國(guó)際學(xué)校迎來(lái)了有史以來(lái)的第一次西班牙語(yǔ)言文化體驗(yàn)之旅——五名Spanish 3的同學(xué)和兩位外教組成的團(tuán)隊(duì)前往西班牙進(jìn)行了為期10天的體驗(yàn)學(xué)習(xí)。這些學(xué)生在農(nóng)歷新年假期中，從馬德里到巴塞羅那，一路“闖蕩”了許多的西班牙城市。

After a 12-hour flight, Madrid welcomed us with an exciting Flamenco show. We were able to enjoy the sight of experienced Flamenco dancers moving to the beautiful sound of the traditional Spanish guitars. The following days, we visited the most popular of Madrid’s tourist spots such as El Prado Museum, Buen Retiro Park, the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, and Puerta del Sol. We took a few guided tours while visiting the city of Don Quixote, Toledo, and The Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

經(jīng)過(guò)12小時(shí)的飛行之后，西班牙首都馬德里以激動(dòng)人心的弗拉門(mén)戈舞表演歡迎了我們。我們欣賞了優(yōu)美的弗拉門(mén)戈舞、聆聽(tīng)了傳統(tǒng)西班牙吉他的優(yōu)美音色。接下來(lái)的幾天，我們參觀了馬德里最受歡迎的旅游景點(diǎn)，例如El Prado博物館，Buen Retiro公園，皇宮，馬約爾廣場(chǎng)和太陽(yáng)門(mén)廣場(chǎng)。我們還在導(dǎo)游帶領(lǐng)下參觀了堂吉訶德，托萊多和被聯(lián)合國(guó)教科文組織列為世界文化遺產(chǎn)的阿爾罕布拉宮。

Our last stop was Barcelona, where we stayed at a beautiful Spanish apartment facing one of the oldest gothic cathedrals in the city. There we got to see one of the most important pieces of architecture in world, La Sagrada Familia. This was considered as the highlight of the trip by many of us. It was an incredible sight, full of endless beautiful details.

我們的最后一站是巴塞羅那，我們住在一間美麗的西班牙公寓里，面朝這座城市最古老的哥特式大教堂之一。在這里，我們看到了世界上最重要的建筑之一——圣家族教堂。許多同學(xué)都認(rèn)為這是這次旅行的亮點(diǎn)。這是令人難以置信的景象，充滿(mǎn)了無(wú)休止的美麗的細(xì)節(jié)。

Most importantly, the purpose of this trip was for the students to practice speaking Spanish after having studied it for almost three school years. They were able to shop for souvenirs and order traditional food dishes all in Spanish. As their teacher, I was very proud to see how well they communicated with the locals and amazed at how much quicker they were at picking up new vocabulary while in the native country. I was happy to see how open they were at trying new things and facing new challenges.

最有意義的是，這次旅行讓學(xué)生們?cè)谌甑奈靼嘌勒Z(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)后，得到了充分練習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì)。他們能夠熟練運(yùn)用西班牙語(yǔ)購(gòu)買(mǎi)紀(jì)念品，購(gòu)買(mǎi)西班牙傳統(tǒng)美食等。作為他們的西班牙語(yǔ)老師，我為他們能夠與當(dāng)?shù)厝隧槙辰涣鞫械阶院?，為他們學(xué)習(xí)新詞匯的快速而感到驚訝。我很高興看到他們?cè)趪L試新事物和面對(duì)新挑戰(zhàn)時(shí)的杰出表現(xiàn)。

Our hope is to continue with this program in the following years, as it is a great opportunity for Spanish 3 students to further enrich their knowledge, not only of the language, but the country’s history and culture.

我們希望在接下來(lái)的幾年中繼續(xù)該活動(dòng)，這對(duì)Spanish 3的同學(xué)來(lái)說(shuō)是一個(gè)不可多得的好機(jī)會(huì)，可以進(jìn)一步豐富他們的知識(shí)。不僅是語(yǔ)言方面的知識(shí)，更是對(duì)歷史和文化理解的擴(kuò)展。
