深圳外國(guó)語(yǔ)學(xué)校(龍崗)國(guó)際部——大開眼界、大展身手,龍崗國(guó)際部師生參加教育科技工作坊

10月26日上午,深外龍崗國(guó)際部(SLIS)課程協(xié)調(diào)員Elmer Reyes、藝術(shù)老師Barbara Grotowska、音樂老師Dorota Siewert、創(chuàng)客及IT支持老師Tracey Jani及4位學(xué)生代表共同參加了在廣州美國(guó)人國(guó)際學(xué)校舉辦的第六屆教育科技工作坊。



On the morning of October 26, SLIS’s PYP coordinator Elmer Reyes, art teacher Barbara Grotowska, music teacher Dorota Siewert, tech integration teacher Tracey Jani and four students participated in the sixth Ed Tech Conference, hosted by the American International School of Guangzhou.



在當(dāng)日的工作坊議程中,我校幾位老師分別在不同的時(shí)間段與來(lái)自不同地區(qū)的國(guó)際學(xué)校的老師切磋交流、探討和汲取新的靈感。學(xué)校始終尋求與外部世界的往來(lái)交互,從學(xué)校管理層到教師隊(duì)伍都注重與中外方教育工作者的溝通和協(xié)作,積極構(gòu)建并持續(xù)拓展SLIS社區(qū)的國(guó)際大網(wǎng)絡(luò)。

At different times during the workshop, the teachers from SLIS exchanged ideas, had discussions and drew new inspirations with teachers from international schools in different regions. SLIS always seeks to interact with the world. Both the leadership, and the teaching team, make regular communication and collaboration with Chinese and expat educators. The school actively builds and continues to expand the international network of the SLIS community.

二年級(jí)Coco 和Zeon同學(xué)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)展示了他們?nèi)绾卫每萍籍a(chǎn)品進(jìn)行第一單元的探究學(xué)習(xí)——“如何在日常生活中做出平衡的選擇才能使我們有一個(gè)健康的生活”。兩位同學(xué)帶來(lái)了一款可以讓你“看到”器官的T恤,配合“掃描”即可出現(xiàn)人體內(nèi)部器官和骨骼畫面,實(shí)際上這些器官、骨骼并不是你的,只是預(yù)設(shè)畫面而已。并且,如果你手中有VR設(shè)備還可以“進(jìn)入”身體一探究竟,甚至可以在血管中“暢游”。現(xiàn)場(chǎng)的老師紛紛表示,利用科技產(chǎn)品直觀地展示人體內(nèi)部構(gòu)造,要比枯燥的彩色圖片更有趣。



Coco and Zeon from Grade 2 shared how they used technology products when learning the first unit of inquiry – “How to make a balanced choice in daily life to make us have a healthy life.” The two students brought a T-shirt allowing you to “see” the internal organs. When the body is “scanned”, you can see the internal organs and bones of the human body. In fact, these organs and bones are not yours, but just preset images. In addition, if you have their VR device in your hand, you can “enter” the body to explore, and even “swim” in the blood vessels. Technological products visually displaying the internal structure of the human body are more interesting than boring color pictures, said the teachers at the conference.

來(lái)自三、四年級(jí)的Leo 和 Alice同學(xué)分別開啟了現(xiàn)場(chǎng)教學(xué)!Leo同學(xué)使用Reading A-Z 的軟件時(shí)增加了對(duì)閱讀學(xué)習(xí)的興趣,他相信這款趣味軟件能夠鼓勵(lì)很多學(xué)生像他一樣持續(xù)探索線上學(xué)習(xí)資源。Padlet是一款教學(xué)課堂互動(dòng)的好工具,目前已廣泛運(yùn)用于SLIS的課堂教學(xué)。Alice為在場(chǎng)的老師展示了如何使用這個(gè)軟件與學(xué)生保持教學(xué)互動(dòng),實(shí)時(shí)了解學(xué)生的課堂學(xué)習(xí)情況。



Leo and Alice from the third and fourth grades gave lessons at the conference! Leo shared how he used Reading A-Z to support his passion for reading. He believes that this fun software can encourage students like him to continue exploring the features of the online resource. Padlet is a good tool for interactive teaching in class, and is widely used in SLIS. Alice showed the teachers how it can be an interactive and visible tool to share learning in class.

SLIS重視學(xué)生使用高科技產(chǎn)品的能力,堅(jiān)持培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的想象力與創(chuàng)造力。我們的創(chuàng)客老師積極參與到每個(gè)班的教學(xué)備課會(huì)中,在課堂中協(xié)助包班老師使用科技教學(xué),讓科技更廣泛地運(yùn)用于課堂教學(xué)中。目前正在建設(shè)的新校區(qū)的教室、實(shí)驗(yàn)室和和其他學(xué)習(xí)區(qū)域的硬件設(shè)施都能滿足各項(xiàng)課程結(jié)合高科技的要求。

SLIS values students’ ability to use high-tech tools and keeps cultivating students’ imagination and creativity. The tech integration teacher actively participates in collaborative planning and assists the class teachers to ensure that science and technology can be more widely used in a purposeful way. The classrooms, laboratories and other learning areas of the new campus, currently under construction, are designed to meet the high-tech requirements of our ambitious plans for future learning.
