深圳外國語學(xué)校(龍崗)國際部將面向全市招收在中國合法居住的外籍(持外國護照或永久居住證)和中國港澳臺籍適齡學(xué)生。

深圳外國語學(xué)校(龍崗)國際部 2020-2021 學(xué)年的招生計劃?

小學(xué)部：一年級招收4個班,二至五年級各招收1個班。每班20人。

初中部：六、七年級各招收2個班。每班20人。

截止出生日期是指?

申請小學(xué)一年級入學(xué)須在2014年9月1日前出生，即年滿6周歲，以此類推。

首輪報名截止日期是?

首輪報名截止日期為：2019年12月31日。

面試時間是什么時候?

學(xué)生及家長均須參加面試。2020年秋季入學(xué)首輪擬招生面試時間：

小學(xué)部：2020年2月15日(星期六);

初中部：2020年2月16日(星期天)。

2020-2021學(xué)年招生流程?

請知悉：1)請確保您提交的信息和資料的真實性。2)在您完整提交申請材料后，招生流程方可移至第二步。3)招生辦公室將嚴(yán)格審核報名資料，在資料完整且符合實際要求的情況下，將向家長發(fā)送面試邀請。

面試結(jié)束后什么時候知道結(jié)果?

招生辦公室將在10至15個工作日內(nèi)通過郵件發(fā)送面試結(jié)果。

2020-2021學(xué)年是否提供寄宿?

2020-2021學(xué)年暫不提供寄宿。

學(xué)費包括哪些方面?

學(xué)費包括日常學(xué)費、課本及圖書館書籍的使用、教學(xué)評估費用、基本文具與其它教輔材料、體育課程、健康教育課程等。

學(xué)費不包括餐費和校服費。

學(xué)校的師資力量?

深圳外國語學(xué)校(龍崗)國際部擁有一支優(yōu)秀的教學(xué)團隊，目前小學(xué)部外籍教師來自英國、美國、新西蘭等國，小學(xué)部中方班主任全部擁有碩士以上學(xué)歷及海外留學(xué)或教學(xué)經(jīng)驗。所有教師均具備國際課程教學(xué)資質(zhì)。

Shenwai Longgang International School (SLIS)has released its admissions announcement of the academic year 2020-2021 on 14th October 2019, which has received intensive attention from interested parents. What is SLIS admissions policy in the academic year of 2020-2021?

The target audience for students include expatriate children, and children with permanent residence of foreign countries or residents from Chinese Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan.

What is SLIS admissions scheme in the academic year of 2020-2021?

Primary Year Programme (Grade 1-5): it enrolls 4 classes in the first grade and 1 class from the second to fifth grade.

Middle Year Programme (Grade 6&7): it enrolls 2 classes for the sixth and seventh grades.

Each class is comprised of 20 students.

What ‘the due date’ refers to?

For example: applicants for admission to Grade 1 must have reached the specified on or before the due date (the cut-off date). Please refer to the table below

The deadline for the first round of application?

The tentative deadline for the first round application for entry in Fall 2020 is 31 December 2019.

The interview date?

Both candidate students and their parents will have to attend the admission interview.

The provisional timeline of the first round admission interview of academic year 2020-2021：

Primary Year: 15 February 2020 (Saturday)

Middle Year: 16 February 2020 (Sunday)

What is the SLIS admissions procedure of academic year 2020-2021?

Please note: 1) Please ensure the truthfulness of the information and documents that you are submitted. 2) Applications can NOT be processed further until all of the required materials have been provided to the Admissions Office. 3) An interview invitation will be sent to the parents if the application form and submitted documents are complete and meet the actual requirements.

When will parents be notified the admission interview outcome?

The Admissions Office will send the admission outcome via email within 10-15 working days after the admission interview.

Will the school provide boarding in academic year 2020-2021?

There will be no boarding for the next academic year.

What aspects will the tuition cover?

The tuition fee covers day-to-day tuition, the use of text and library books, Measure of Academic Progress (MAP), basic stationery and general educational materials, physical education, health education etc.

The tuition fee does not include the costs of school meals and uniform. They will be charged separately.

SLIS Teaching faculty?

The school has an excellent teaching team: the expatriate teachers are from the England, US, New Zealand etc., all Chinese homeroom-teachers have master’s degrees or above with overseas study or teaching experience. All teachers have substantial working experience and are suitably qualified.

What is the school’s curricular and its philosophy?

It is the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum: www.ibo.org

The IB programme is designed to provide students with education in intelligence, emotions, personal development along with social skills, emphasizing inquiry-based learning, becoming lifelong and international-mindset learners.

Is Chinese study part of the school’s curricular?

One of the mandatory subjects for the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme is local language study (Chinese).

SLIS aims to provide quality education that integrates both Chinese and Western Culture, while emphasizing the study of traditional Chinese culture and language learning.
