梅沙黑利伯瑞書院——名校來訪Vol.7 | 澳洲八大名校之一——莫納什大學(xué)來訪

近期，我們有幸再次請(qǐng)到了澳洲八大名校之一的莫納什大學(xué)招生官來到MAH，與校內(nèi)意向升讀澳洲的同學(xué)進(jìn)行一次面對(duì)面近距離交流。

Monash University

Recently, we had the honor to invite the admission officer of Monash University, one of the Australian group of eight universities, to come to MAH to have a face-to-face communication with students.

澳洲莫納什大學(xué)創(chuàng)建于1958年，以約翰·莫納什(John Monash)爵士命名，是澳大利亞規(guī)模最大的大學(xué)，在2019QS世界大學(xué)排名中位居58位。大學(xué)開設(shè)了超過140個(gè)雙學(xué)位課程供同學(xué)們選擇，為廣大學(xué)子提供了品質(zhì)卓越的世界一流教育。莫納什大學(xué)最有名的專業(yè)是藥劑學(xué)，在世界上排名第三，除此之外，其教育學(xué)以及護(hù)理專業(yè)的世界排名也位處前列。

Founded in 1958 and named after Sir John Monash, Monash University is the largest university in Australia, ranked 58th in the 2019 QS University ranking. More than 140 double-degree courses are offered for students to choose from, providing excellent world-class education for students. Monash University's most famous major is pharmacy, ranking third in the world. Besides, its education, teaching and nursing majors are also very popular.

本次宣講會(huì)讓學(xué)生近距離地接觸到招生官，溝通氣氛融洽。招生官在宣講中詳細(xì)地為學(xué)生介紹了莫納什大學(xué)的十大院系以及其入學(xué)要求，大家都收獲到了不少干貨。

Students get close contact with the admission officer and communicate in a harmonious atmosphere. The Admission Officer has provided detailed introduction to the ten major departments of Monash University and their admission requirements.

No.1

商學(xué)院 Business

其中商學(xué)院旗下分為Business(商科)以及Commerce(商務(wù))兩大板塊。商科包括會(huì)計(jì)，銀行金融，國際貿(mào)易，市場營銷等專業(yè)，不要求在高中時(shí)期學(xué)習(xí)高數(shù)。商務(wù)包括精算學(xué)，經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)，金融學(xué)等專業(yè)，要求學(xué)習(xí)高數(shù)。入學(xué)要求方面，ATAR均分為82.5分，EAL最好達(dá)到30分及以上。

Business schools are divided into Business and Commerce streams. Business stream includes accounting, banking and finance, international trade, marketing and other majors, which do not require specialist mathematics (the highest level mathematic class in VCE). Commerce stream includes major in Actuarial science, economics, and finance. Students apply for majors in Commerce stream have to choose specialist mathematics during their year 12 study . In terms of admission requirements, both business and commerce stream require ATAR scores 82.5, and EAL score is better than 30.

教育學(xué)院 Education

教育學(xué)院分為學(xué)前教育，小學(xué)教育等多個(gè)專業(yè)，申請(qǐng)教育學(xué)專業(yè)學(xué)生需要提前通過線上的性格測試，且測試一年只能考一次，招生官提議最好提前在大學(xué)官網(wǎng)上查好時(shí)間，在網(wǎng)上找tips。而教育學(xué)的入學(xué)要求，ATAR均分75分，EAL達(dá)到30分以,雅思申請(qǐng)分?jǐn)?shù)6.5(聽力閱讀6分，口語寫作6.5分)。

Educational colleges are divided into pre-school education, primary education and other specialties. Applicant for educational major need to pass online personality tests. The test can only be taken once a year. Admission officer suggests that it is better to check the time on the University official website in advance. The average score of ATAR and EAL is 75 and 30. IELTS require score is 6.5 (6 points for listening and reading, 6.5 points for oral writing).

工程學(xué)院 Engineering

接下來是在澳洲排名No.1的工程學(xué)院，莫納什大學(xué)是澳洲維多利亞州唯一授予其學(xué)生工程榮譽(yù)學(xué)位的學(xué)校。工程專業(yè)本身為年薪排名前五的專業(yè)，而莫納什的工程學(xué)院提供十種不同的主修方向，有化學(xué)工程、土木工程、航天工程、軟件工程等等。工程的選擇眾多，且提供了比其余專業(yè)更多的雙學(xué)位機(jī)會(huì)。在學(xué)生修完本科后，可獲取EA認(rèn)證。(修完軟件工程專業(yè)后，獲得ACS&EA雙認(rèn)證)除此之外，本學(xué)院還提供了帶薪實(shí)習(xí)的機(jī)會(huì)。

Next comes Engineering College, ranking No. 1 in Australia. Monash University is the only university in Victoria State offer honor degree in engineering. Engineering. Monash College of Engineering offers ten different majors, including chemical engineering, civil engineering, aerospace engineering, software engineering and so on. There are many choices in the project, and it provides many double degree opportunities. After completing engineering undergraduate course, students are able to get EA certification. After completing the major of software engineering, students are able to get ACS&EA double certification. Also, Engineering school of Monash offers paid internship opportunities for its Engineering students.
