TWIS Smart Campus

A secure and efficient environment for learning

Integrating cutting-edge technology into the way people live, work and learn on campus has been an emerging trend in education. So how does TWIS leverage cloud technology, Internet of Things (IoT) technology, digital technology of resources and advanced technology infrastructure to facilitate innovation, improve learning experience and keep staff and students safer in the campus?

The design of TWIS Smart Campus is to deliver two key value propositions to staff and students: enabling 21st century teaching and learning experiences and improving operational efficiency. We will highlight various functions of the Smart Campus and explain them in two articles:

安全校園

Security and Safety

確保校園安全是我們首要的職責。在TWIS智能校園，我們透過科技全天候保護在校園內每個角落的學生和員工的安全。與傳統(tǒng)的校園安全系統(tǒng)不同，智慧校園將不同的安全技術融合到一個統(tǒng)一的系統(tǒng)中，讓監(jiān)控攝像頭、警報和校園一卡通的信息一體化，實現(xiàn)自動化的實時決策，從而提高校園的安全性。

We consider campus safety a number one priority. On TWIS Smart Campus, we use technology to protect the safety and security of students and staff everywhere on campus, 24/7. Unlike tradition campus security systems, we integrate disparate security technologies within a unified system that surveillance cameras, alarms, and smart ID cards can all work together to make automated real-time decisions that keep everyone on campus safer.

01 人臉識別 Facial recognition system

在學校各進出口和學生宿舍都安裝了帶攝像頭的人臉識別系統(tǒng)。

Facial recognition system with cameras are installed at the school’s entrances and student dormitory buildings.

02 視頻監(jiān)控 Video Surveillance

視頻監(jiān)控和入侵報警系統(tǒng)覆蓋學校外圍圍墻、各教學樓(幼兒園、小學和中學) 和宿舍樓出入口。

The CCTV and the Intruder Alarm System covers the campus perimeter walls, the entrance of each teaching building (from Kindergarten through to Secondary School) and each dormitory building.

03 門禁管理 Access Control Management

門禁管理不僅能管制TWIS的出入權限，還可以取得學生的刷卡記錄，實時考勤。

Access Control Management not only securely controls the access to TWIS Campus but also captures the time and attendance of students.

校園一卡通

Smart ID Card

校園一卡通連接著一個安全高效的身份管理和校園支付系統(tǒng)，通過內聯(lián)網(wǎng)無縫整合學校，員工和學生的各種資料數(shù)據(jù)，實現(xiàn)校園內的全方位管理。

The Smart ID card is connected with a secure and efficient system for identity application management and on-campus financial payment, seamlessly integrating school, staff and students through Intranet to achieve all-round management within the campus.
