畢業(yè)典禮上的演講丨2019屆畢業(yè)生趙泓洋：常懷包容之心，擁抱大千世界

Dear distinguished teachers, parents and my beloved students. Good morning! I am Vincent Zhao from 12 Dragon.

It is a great honor for me to represent the graduating class on this stage. During my four-year high school experience, the word which has left the greatest mark on my life is tolerance. The memory of my first day of school is still very much alive. I was clueless, hotheaded, and uncertain about my future endeavor, knowing very a little about what I want for myself. Then I came across a group of people whom now I call family: dedicated faculty members and lovely schoolmates. They helped me find where I belong within the hustle on the small yet diverse campus.

From founding my own club to realizing my goals of education and from helping my friends with standardized tests to going to everyday classes, I hone myself among dissimilar voices and fierce conflicts, allowing myself to embrace openness and inclusiveness. When we enter greater stages of life, we will encounter different perspectives and unique voices and sometimes opposition and contradiction.

At that moment, I wish that everyone can have a heart of empathy and learn to tackle problems by taking different perspectives. We need to know how to extract the solution that works for everyone rather than letting rage and prejudice get the better of us. At foreign universities we will run into people with different skin color, from different countries and cultural background. One of the goals of our education is to take the essence and work through our differences on the diverse campus, and to become a global citizen with vision that would benefit humanity.

The ultimate goal of our education is to make differences to the people and things around us. And I as a future educator shall stick to this expectation, making changes for myself and the people around me. I want everyone of you to remember what you are fighting for and stay true to yourself no matter what happens. We shall break the waves and step into future with confidence and pride. The world is ours to take! Thank you!

各位尊敬的老師，家長，親愛的同學(xué)們，大家好!

我是來自12年級(jí)龍班的趙泓洋Vincent。今天很榮幸作為優(yōu)秀學(xué)生代表在這個(gè)臺(tái)上發(fā)言。在我四年的高中生涯，我感觸最深的一個(gè)詞是：包容。還記得我當(dāng)時(shí)剛?cè)雽W(xué)的時(shí)候，懵懂無知的我并不對(duì)自己有深入的了解。對(duì)于以后想要干什么和未來的規(guī)劃一無所知。然而我碰到了一群可愛的同學(xué)們和敬業(yè)的老師們。他們幫助我在不大卻多元的校園里找到了自己的歸屬。

從創(chuàng)立自己的社團(tuán)到實(shí)踐自己的教育理想，從幫助同學(xué)補(bǔ)習(xí)托福SAT到每一天的課程，我在不同的聲音和激烈的沖突中磨練著自己，讓自己變得更加包容和開放。當(dāng)我們以后走進(jìn)更加廣闊的世界的時(shí)候，一定會(huì)碰到許多異樣的眼神和獨(dú)特的聲音，甚至?xí)袥_突的觀點(diǎn)和水火不容的時(shí)刻。

在這種時(shí)候，我希望我們能擁有一顆同理心，學(xué)會(huì)從不同的角度來分析問題，學(xué)會(huì)從不同的視角提煉出最合適的解決方案，而不是讓自己的怒火和偏見戰(zhàn)勝了理智。在國外的大學(xué)里我們會(huì)接觸到不同膚色，不同國家，不同文化背景的同學(xué)，而我們?nèi)饨邮芙逃哪康闹痪褪且诙嘣男@里取其精華，去其槽粕，成為一個(gè)有健全人格和多文化背景的世界公民。

我們接受教育是為了能對(duì)自己和身邊的事物做出改變，而我作為一個(gè)未來的教育者，也將自己教育的初衷銘記于心。那就是在自己做出改變的同時(shí)，也幫助周圍的人改變。我也希望在座的畢業(yè)生能時(shí)刻銘記當(dāng)初自己為之奮斗的初心，乘風(fēng)破浪，走向未來。這個(gè)大千世界屬于我們!!
