深圳市楓葉學(xué)校：老吾老以及人之老

踏著午后溫暖的日光，深圳市楓葉學(xué)校的高中同學(xué)在加方校長(zhǎng)Mr.Borthistle和領(lǐng)事連老師的陪同下，一起前往福利中心看望老人，孩子們也為老人們精心準(zhǔn)備了節(jié)目。 In the warm afternoon sunshine, the high school students of Maple Leaf International Academy-Shenzhen, accompanied by Mr. Borthistle and Ms. Lian, went to the Shenzhen welfar

在表演開(kāi)始之前，志愿者為孩子們大概地介紹了老人們的生活，從志愿者口中，孩子們了解了一些爺爺奶奶的習(xí)慣和愛(ài)好。在老人們午休結(jié)束后，孩子們跑去電梯口迎接爺爺奶奶們，一路上都有說(shuō)有笑的，老人們都十分親切。孩子們非常細(xì)心，攙扶著老人，按照老人的節(jié)奏慢慢走;在扶老人坐下之前，還要檢查一下椅子是不是牢靠。

Before the performance, the volunteers gave students a general introduction about the senior citizen’s lives. Students learned about some habits and hobbies of theses grandparents. After the senior citizen’s lunch break, the students ran to the elevator to meet the elders. We talked and laughed while walking with them, and the seniors were all very kind in return.

在各位爺爺奶奶落座后，同學(xué)們?yōu)槟棠毯蜖敔敱硌萘诵┬」?jié)目：有革命年代讓中華兒女熱血沸騰的黃河大合唱;有回憶往昔柔情歲月的歌曲“月亮代表我的心”串燒英文歌曲;同時(shí)也有歡快活潑的舞蹈“粉紅色的回憶”;更有柔中帶剛的太極表演和體現(xiàn)中華傲骨的舞劍;還有現(xiàn)場(chǎng)書(shū)寫(xiě)的書(shū)法作品：“南山之壽，皓松永青”!飽含對(duì)老人家的祝福。

After most of the senior citizens took their seats, the students performed some small performances for these grandmothers and grandfathers. The song "The Moon Represents My Heart" was part of a collection of English songs. There was also a dance called "Pink Memories,” followed by a Taichi performance and the Chinese pride sword dance.

當(dāng)然，不單單只是孩子們，老人們同樣也做了精心的節(jié)目準(zhǔn)備。歌曲“繡荷包”和“在那東山頂上”一展?fàn)敔斈棠虃兝袭?dāng)益壯的精神風(fēng)貌。漂亮的歌喉給00后的孩子們帶來(lái)了巨大的震撼，講述了那個(gè)時(shí)代的故事。

Of course, not only the students, but also the senior citizens had made careful preparations for today. The songs "Embroidering the Purse" and "At the Top of the Dongshan Mountain" showed the spirits of the grandparents. The melting voice brought great shock to the children born after 2000, telling the story of that era.

最后在掌聲中，本次活動(dòng)完美落幕。孩子們也和老人們、志愿者們進(jìn)行了合照。

Finally, in applause, the event ended perfectly. The students took pictures with the elders and volunteers.

這次社區(qū)服務(wù)活動(dòng)讓同學(xué)們感慨良多，清明感恩，關(guān)愛(ài)長(zhǎng)者。老吾老以及人之老。在今后的日子，深圳市楓葉學(xué)校將繼續(xù)更多的志愿者服務(wù)，為楓葉孩子們培養(yǎng)更強(qiáng)的社會(huì)責(zé)任感。讓我們一起期待學(xué)校的未來(lái)發(fā)展。

This community service activity created a lot of feelings.
