2019年3月18-22日是深圳(南山)中加學(xué)校第八屆反欺凌教育周。今年反欺凌教育周活動(dòng)的主題是“校園欺凌中的責(zé)任”,我們的口號(hào)是“因你不同”。我們旨在通過(guò)此次活動(dòng)提升全校師生反對(duì)校園欺凌的意識(shí)和預(yù)防、干預(yù)欺凌事件的能力,明確提出防治校園欺凌人人有責(zé),倡導(dǎo)共同構(gòu)建安全和諧的校園環(huán)境。
星期一是教育日。清晨升旗儀式后,執(zhí)行校長(zhǎng)張金仲和加方副校長(zhǎng)Greg Smith宣布深圳(南山)中加學(xué)校第八屆反欺凌教育周開(kāi)幕。
Monday wasGet Educated Day. During the flag-raising ceremony in the morning, the Executive Principal,Mr. Zhang Jinzhong, and the Canadian Vice-Principal, Greg Smith, announced the opening of BAW 2019.
In the afternoon, the funducation fair was held on the badminton court as scheduled. The event was very popular. Teachers and students came to experience all kinds of bullying awareness games and activities.
Tuesday wasStaying Safe in Cyberspace Day. During morning exercises, the director of the Personal Development Center (PDC), RuiChi, delivered a speech entitled “YOU Can Make a Difference”. At 4pm in the afternoon, Jennifer Kerns, the clinical supervisor of PDC, and another PDC counselor, Zhang Xiaoxu, gave a professional development workshop to all SCCSC teachers, entitled “Responsibility in School Bullying”. The importance of teachers’ rolesin preventing school bullying was discussed. This workshop greatly enriched teachers’ knowledge of bullying prevention and intervention, which made them more capable of helping, guiding, and encouraging students in their future work.
星期三是粉紅衣日。校園里隨處可見(jiàn)身著粉衣的教職員工和學(xué)生,散如光點(diǎn),聚似海洋。下午眼保健操時(shí)間,百逾名老師和學(xué)生自發(fā)前往足球場(chǎng)共同拍攝今年的粉紅衣大合照,以實(shí)際行動(dòng)履責(zé),參與到如火如荼的校園文化建設(shè)中。
At 8:20pm, Grade 12 Peer Buddies went to the Grade 10 classes to give presentations on cyberbullying prevention and intervention.
Wednesday was Wear Pink Day. Everyone in the school community was encouraged to wear pink T-shirts on this day. In the afternoon, more than one hundred teachers and students came to the football field to take this year’s group photo.
That evening, at 8:30pm, "This Is Your Stage" show was held in the multi-functional hall on the first floor. Many members from the community, individuals, and Peer Buddies enthusiastically performed.
Thursday was Everyday Hero Day. During lunch break, the film "Cry Me a Sad River" was played in the multi-functional hall, telling a painful story about school bullying in order to enhance students' empathy andunderstanding of the impact of school bullying. In the afternoon, the final game of this year’s BAW basketball competition was held on the basketball court.
Friday wasCommunity Day. In the morning, the 8th Annual Bullying Awareness Week of SCCSC was successfully concluded with allteachers and students. PDC awarded prizes to winning groups and individuals in various competitions during the week.
PDC would like to thank all SCCSC teachers and students for their great support and enthusiasm during the whole BAW week.With the cooperation and contribution of every single individual in the school community, we believe we can go further.
