深圳柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校 認(rèn)識(shí)新同學(xué)系列—抗疫一線醫(yī)護(hù)子女篇

2020年在國內(nèi)新冠肺炎疫情爆發(fā)后，人類的善良、努力和勇氣保證了許多人的生命安全和身體健康。

小編寄語：2020年在國內(nèi)新冠肺炎疫情爆發(fā)后，人類的善良、努力和勇氣保證了許多人的生命安全和身體健康。許多人因?yàn)樵谶@段時(shí)間的付出而受到贊揚(yáng)，但最值得贊揚(yáng)的依舊是勇敢無私的醫(yī)護(hù)人員，他們英勇無畏地逆行前線，救死扶傷，將個(gè)人利益置之度外。世上本沒有天生的英雄，正是一個(gè)個(gè)平凡人在逆境中站了出來，守護(hù)了一方百姓的生命和健康。有鑒于此，柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校公布了2020學(xué)年針對抗疫醫(yī)護(hù)人員子女的學(xué)費(fèi)減免政策，符合條件的醫(yī)護(hù)子女可以免費(fèi)入讀我校。目前第一批符合申請條件的三位候選人已被我校成功錄取，將在今年九月正式入讀我校，在此我們希望將她/他隆重地正式介紹給柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校社區(qū)成員。

三年級新生：姚智寧(Jonathan Yao)

父親：姚相杰先生，美國俄亥俄州立大學(xué)博士后，目前就職于深圳市疾病預(yù)防控制中心。2020年1月23日至今直接參與新型冠狀病毒抗疫防控一線工作，工作范圍包括但不限于新型冠狀病毒疑似感染者的實(shí)驗(yàn)室檢測確診，全市新型冠狀病毒患者定點(diǎn)醫(yī)院(如深圳市第三人民醫(yī)院)樣本的檢測及負(fù)責(zé)全市各區(qū)新冠疑似陽性樣本的復(fù)核等等。

母親：蔡春林女士，武漢大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)博士，目前就職于深圳市羅湖區(qū)疾病預(yù)防控制中心微生物檢驗(yàn)科。自2020年3月10日至今一直在微檢科從事新冠病毒檢驗(yàn)工作。工作范圍包括但不限于羅湖轄區(qū)醫(yī)院新型冠狀病毒疑似感染者的實(shí)驗(yàn)室篩查和復(fù)核，轄區(qū)密接人員，境外返深人員等以及環(huán)境中新型冠狀病毒的檢驗(yàn)工作。

小編：請你簡要介紹一下你自己?

答：大家好，我叫姚智寧，英文名字Jonathan, 我家住羅湖區(qū)洪湖公園旁。

小編：爸爸媽媽忙于一線抗疫時(shí)你在家的情況是怎樣的?

答：爸爸媽媽都在疾控中心工作，此次疫情爆發(fā)爸爸媽媽都在一線抗疫，他們每天很忙。他們上班時(shí)，我在家上網(wǎng)課，彈鋼琴，看書，還有看電視以及陪弟弟玩。

小編：你對柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校的了解有多少?

答：我了解柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校是通過觀看學(xué)校的直播視頻。媽媽說，這個(gè)學(xué)校是個(gè)友愛的大家庭。那里學(xué)生比較少，小朋友能得到更到的關(guān)愛。她還說，學(xué)校的課程融合了中西方文化，能拓展視野。學(xué)校能更好的培養(yǎng)興趣，陶冶情操，更有助于每個(gè)人的成長進(jìn)步。

小編：你的興趣愛好是什么，你周末喜歡做些什么?

答：我喜歡踢足球，也很喜歡玩樂高機(jī)器人。我是學(xué)校足球隊(duì)的守門員。周末我會(huì)在學(xué)校上足球課。此外，還會(huì)上鋼琴課，樂高課等。

小編：你最喜歡的圖書或電影人物是誰?為什么?

答：我喜歡看丁丁歷險(xiǎn)記，因?yàn)槎《『苡赂叶页錆M智慧。

《家長采訪篇》

小編：醫(yī)護(hù)平日工作繁忙，請問您是如何平衡工作和生活的呢?

智寧父母：面對突如其來的新型冠狀病毒疫情，作為醫(yī)務(wù)人員，抗擊疫情是我們義不容辭的責(zé)任。談起工作和生活的平衡，我很慚愧。因?yàn)楣ぷ鞯年P(guān)系，我們對孩子很多方面照顧不足。孩子在家上網(wǎng)課，缺乏家長的監(jiān)督和指導(dǎo)，孩子很難自覺的完成學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)，學(xué)習(xí)效果并不理想，親子關(guān)系也曾一度備受挑戰(zhàn)，很慶幸現(xiàn)在校園已經(jīng)復(fù)學(xué)，生活慢慢回規(guī)到正常狀態(tài)。

小編：您為什么想要送孩子來柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校呢?

智寧父母：我觀看了幾期柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校的微信推文。了解到學(xué)校無論從硬件還是師資力量以及從課程設(shè)置上講，都是相當(dāng)不錯(cuò)的，是深圳市少有的優(yōu)質(zhì)國際學(xué)校。低年級組和高年級組的兩位校長，都是非常有強(qiáng)大的教育和管理背景并有豐富的教育管理經(jīng)驗(yàn)。學(xué)校董事長是一位非常有情懷和社會(huì)責(zé)任感，可謂德才兼?zhèn)涞呐?。雖然學(xué)校的歷史并不長，但我相信有這樣一個(gè)強(qiáng)有力的運(yùn)營管理團(tuán)隊(duì)，學(xué)校的教學(xué)質(zhì)量會(huì)讓人信服滿意。

小編：您的孩子已經(jīng)被成功錄取了，請問您對孩子未來的期許和希冀是什么呢?

智寧父母：每一個(gè)孩子如同一個(gè)被播種的種子，他孕育著希望，承載著父母的期待。我期待孩子能在學(xué)校里找到友誼，找到興趣，找到堅(jiān)強(qiáng)，找到執(zhí)著，找到奮斗的價(jià)值和快樂。

小編：作為家校社區(qū)的新成員，請問您有什么祝福想要送給大家嗎?

智寧父母：首先，我很感謝學(xué)校給予我一個(gè)和大家相互認(rèn)識(shí)的機(jī)會(huì)。很高興加入這個(gè)友愛的家校社區(qū)。在這里，我想跟大家說，緣分讓我們相遇，夢想讓我們把孩子送到這里。那么，就讓我們把信任交給學(xué)校，把信心交給孩子，讓我們團(tuán)結(jié)有愛，互幫互助，努力做好后勤兵，一如既往的支持學(xué)校的活動(dòng)，一如既往的相信自己的選擇，相信未來有一個(gè)不一樣的孩子，他們在一天天的成長，一天天的進(jìn)步。

Message from the editor: During the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent worldwide pandemic, it has been acts of human kindness, endeavour and courage that have kept so many of us safe and healthy. While many may be praised for their actions during this time, none so much as the brave and selfless medical workers who left own families behind and work at the front line. There are no natural heroes in the world. It is the ordinary people who stand up in the face of adversity and guard the lives and health of the people. In view of this, Bromsgrove School Mission Hills announced Bursary Policy for children of anti-epidemic medical workers for this year. For details, please check out the previous post: "BMH Bursary Policy ". At present, 3 eligible candidates who met the criterial have been successfully admitted to our school and will be joining us officially in September. Here, we would like to formally introduce these applicants to the members of Bromsgrove Mission Hills School Community in a series of related posts.

Bursary Applicant: P3 New Student- Jonathan Yao

Father of Jonathan Yao ：Mr Yao Xiangjie, Postdoctoral Fellow of Ohio State University(US) who currently works in the Disease Control and Prevention Centre of Shenzhen City. Since January 23rd, Mr Yao has directly participated in front-line work of COVID-19 prevention and control, including but not limited to the laboratory testing and diagnosis of COVID-19 suspected infection cases, the testing of samples from the designated hospitals of COVID-19 patients (The third people's Hospital of Shenzhen), and the reexamination of COVID-19 suspected positive samples in various districts of the city.

Mother of Jonathan Yao: Mrs. Cai Chunlin, Doctor of Medicine of Wuhan University，who currently works in the microbiological laboratory of the Disease Control and Prevention Center of Luohu District, Shenzhen. Since March 10th, she has been fully engaged in COVID-19 prevention and control work as an expert in the Micro- inspection Department. The scope of her work includes, but is not limited to, laboratory screening and reviews of suspected COVID-19 cases in hospitals in the Luohu area, managing close contacts of confirmed cases, managing personnel returning from abroad, as well as COVID-19 inspection related work.

Student's Interview

Question 1: Can you give a brief self-introduction?

Jonathan: Hello, everyone. My name is Yao Zhining and my English name is Jonathan. My home is close to Honghu Park in Luohu District.

Question 2: How do you spend your time at home when parents are busy with anti-pandemic work?

Jonathan: My parents work for CDC, because the outbreak of COVID-19, both of my parents are in the front line to fight against the epidemic, so they are very busy. When they leave home for work, I will have online lessons at home, play the piano, read some books, watch TV and play with my brother.

Question 3: What do you know about BMH so far?

Jonathan: I getting to know Bromsgrove School Mission Hills by watching the live-broadcasts of online information sessions. My mom said that this school had a very big and friendly community. Class sizes are smaller there so each child can get more attention from the teachers. She also said that the school's curriculum blends Chinese and Western cultures and it will help to broaden my vision. The school values holistic development of students and it will help me to achieve more in the future.

Question 4: What would you like to do over the weekend?

Jonathan: I love football and Lego robots very much. I am the goal keeper of my football team. I have football lessons over the weekends. In addition, I also have piano lessons, Lego lessons and so on.

Q: Who is your favourite book character?

A:I like The Adventures of Tintin because Tintin is a brave boy and full of wisdom

Parents’ interview

Question 1: How do you balance work and life especially having a child at home?

Parents of Jonathan：In the face of the outbreak of COVID-19, as medical staff, it is our unshakable responsibility to stand up and protect the public. When it comes to work-life balance, we feel a little bit guilty. Due to our busy work, we have limited time at the moment to look after our children. They have been taking online classes at home without our guidance, it is hard for them to complete their learning tasks conscientiously, so their learning result is not ideal. Our parent-child relationships have also been challenged! I am glad that school has resumed and life is slowly returning to normal.

Question 2: Why would you like to send your children to BMH? /What do you like about BMH?

Parents of Jonathan：I read several posts from the Bromsgrove School Mission Hills official WeChat platform. We learned that the school has good facilities, teachers and curriculum, and it is a high-quality internationalised school in Shenzhen. Both Heads of School have a very strong educational and management background and rich experience in educational management. The Director of the School is a woman who is very caring and socially responsible, and can be described as a woman with both ability and political integrity. Although the history of the school is not very long, I believe that with such a strong operation and management team, the teaching quality of the school have solid foundations.

Question 3: Now your child will be a BMHer, what future hopes do you have for him?

Parents of Jonathan: Every child is a seed; He is embedded with hope and carries the aspirations of his parents. I hope Jonathan can make a lot friends, find his interests and strengths, learn to be resilient and eventually understand the value of hardwork and happiness.

Question 4：Any message for our BMH Parent School Community?

Parents of Jonathan: First of all, I am very grateful to be given a chance to know you in this way. It's a pleasure to join this friendly home-school community. Therefore, I would like to share with you that I believe that the destiny has brought us here, our children will study together and grow up here. So let us give trust to the school, confidence to the children, let us unite and help each other out, continue to support school activities, and believe in our choices as always. Our children will be different in the future, and we will witness the process of progress day by day
