截至5月7日，我校高三共有11名應屆畢業(yè)生收到了加拿大滑鐵盧大學(University of Waterloo)的錄取通知書，他們分別是：

The University of Waterloo (founded in 1957) is a public research university with a main campus in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and is only 1-hour drive from Toronto.

滑鐵盧大學以數(shù)學、電腦、工程等學科聞名，學校的代表隊曾多次獲得ACM 國際大學生程序設計競賽的冠軍?；F盧大學教學設施完善，科研設備先進，學術力量雄厚，是一所著名的綜合性公立大學，并設有北美唯一一所數(shù)學院，這也是全世界最大的數(shù)學和計算機的教育及研究中心。除此之外，滑鐵盧大學工程院擁有加拿大最好的軟件工程，電子工程及機械工程專業(yè)。

University of Waterloo is famous for its mathematics, computer science and engineering subjects. The school team has won the ACM International Programming Contest many times as champion. It is a well-known comprehensive public university with outstanding teaching facilities, advanced scientific research equipment and strong academic strength. It has the only faculty of mathematics in North America, which is also the largest education and research center of mathematics and computer science in the world. In addition, the faculty of engineering at University of Waterloo has some of the best programs in software engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering in Canada.

此外，滑鐵盧大學是加拿大第一所提供合作實習教育課程(co-op)的學府。通過這一課程，學生能在所修讀的學科中獲得學習與實習并重的機會。

The University of Waterloo is most famous for its cooperative education (co-op) programs, which allow the students to integrate their education with applicable work experiences.

滑鐵盧大學的畢業(yè)生深受科技企業(yè)的歡迎，黑莓手機創(chuàng)始人之一拉扎里迪斯曾經(jīng)就讀滑鐵盧大學。微軟公司前主席比爾?蓋茨于2005年秋季訪問滑鐵盧大學演講的時候提到，滑鐵盧大學是微軟招聘畢業(yè)生最多的學校之一。

The graduates from University of Waterloo are very popular within technics companies. Mr. Lazaridis, one of the founders of Blackberry is also the graduate student from University of Waterloo. Former chairman of Microsoft Bill Gates has mentioned the University of Waterloo as one of Microsoft's top recruiting schools when he visited the university in the Fall of 2005.
