A letter to Grade 12 and Your Parents

尊敬的家長朋友，親愛的同學(xué)們：

草長鶯飛，已是繁花勝景。美好春光里，有萬物復(fù)蘇的朗朗景象，也有同學(xué)們回歸校園的殷殷期待。經(jīng)廣東省教育廳決定全省高三、初三年級學(xué)生自4月27日開學(xué)，其他各年級、學(xué)段的同學(xué)也將陸續(xù)錯峰返校復(fù)學(xué)。這個“超長假期”，同學(xué)們積極響應(yīng)“停課不停學(xué)”的號召，堅持線上學(xué)習(xí)，家長們也心甘情愿當(dāng)了一回“班主任”。在此，學(xué)校對同學(xué)們良好的表現(xiàn)提出表揚(yáng)，向各位辛勤付出的家長表達(dá)最衷心的感謝!你們辛苦了!

Dear parents and students,

As the beautiful summer is around the corner and the corona virus spread has been basically curbed, we are glad to inform you that according to the announcement from Guang Dong Educational Bureau, the 2020 spring semester at school for 12th graders will officially begin on April 27th.Students of grad 10 and 11 will also resume classes at school one after another in the following weeks.

根據(jù)上級黨委及教育主管部門要求，為保障返校后師生的生命安全和身體健康，學(xué)校必須采取高于社會、社區(qū)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的最嚴(yán)格的防控措施，建立學(xué)校、學(xué)生、家長三位一體防控體系，落實(shí)主體責(zé)任，各司其職，各負(fù)其責(zé)，堅決防止疫情向校園輸入和擴(kuò)散。為確保開學(xué)安全、平穩(wěn)、有序，請認(rèn)真了解并積極配合做好以下工作：

SCCSC will implement a rigorous preventive measures to ensure the safety of students which will be involving school staff, students and parents as participants to fulfill this task.Therefore, please carefully read the arrangements as follows:

第一，請嚴(yán)格遵循開學(xué)的報道安排。4月26日學(xué)生返校報道，建議有條件的家長自駕送孩子返校，減少途中與外界接觸。如有發(fā)熱或咳嗽乏力等身體不適的要暫緩返校，并告知班主任。各班實(shí)行錯時返校，嚴(yán)格校門口的逐人體溫檢測及外帶行李箱的消毒工作。

1. Please follow the instruction of registration: we highly recommend parents who own cars drive your child to school if possible in order to minimize their contacts with areas outside school and home.Students who have symptoms such as fever, cough or fatigue, must inform your home-teachers and postpone your registration and return.

第二，請全力配合學(xué)校的管控措施。暫時的不便，是為了長久的安寧。根據(jù)上級教育主管部門要求，學(xué)校實(shí)行嚴(yán)格的進(jìn)出管控，開學(xué)錯時報到，周末錯時放學(xué)，請您快接快送，在學(xué)校門口不逗留、不聚集;校園實(shí)行封閉管理，校外無關(guān)人員(包括家長)一律不準(zhǔn)進(jìn)校園，禁止外賣、快遞等相關(guān)物品進(jìn)入校園。請學(xué)生及家長們理解并予以配合。

2. Please respect the epidemic preventive procedure: there will be different schedules for different classes,and students’ body temperature will be checked at the school gate. Parents are not allowed to enter into campus, so do take-outs and express deliveries.

第三，請如實(shí)填報孩子的健康信息。開學(xué)前，所有學(xué)生按照“一人一檔”標(biāo)準(zhǔn)，建立詳細(xì)的“學(xué)生健康檔案”，保證到校前的安全。同時簽訂“學(xué)生返校前14天健康承諾書”及“學(xué)生周末健康承諾書”，如實(shí)上報學(xué)生校外行蹤及身體健康狀況，嚴(yán)禁將身體不適或還在生病中的學(xué)生送入學(xué)?；螂[瞞病情讓其上學(xué)。

3. Please submit student health status: SCCSC will collect and archive students’ health information by signing two agreements with students and parents in order to predict any potential risk.

第四，請科學(xué)指導(dǎo)孩子的防疫措施。請積極指導(dǎo)孩子養(yǎng)成良好的衛(wèi)生習(xí)慣，如勤洗手、正確佩戴口罩，課間不聚集，與他人保持1米以上間隔距離，有身體不適立即報告等。建議學(xué)生和家長在確保安全的前提下步行、騎行或自駕出行。如確需乘坐公共交通工具的，途中應(yīng)全程佩戴口罩，并做好個人防護(hù)，盡量避免觸摸車上用品。周末住校生暫不要網(wǎng)上購物寄到學(xué)校，以避免受病毒污染的包裹進(jìn)入校園。家長要做好自己的防護(hù)，盡量取消外出計劃，減少不必要的出行，避免去人群密集的地方，不去出現(xiàn)疫情的地區(qū)，降低感染風(fēng)險，保持身體健康。

4. Please assist your child in understanding the must-have hygiene practice: a good hygiene habit is quite important during this difficult time, we urge parents to educate your children in understanding the importance of keeping good hygiene habits, as well as following other necessary social distancing guidelines.

第五，請理性引導(dǎo)孩子的心理建設(shè)。“后疫情時代”，城市在復(fù)蘇，心理也需重啟。如果孩子出現(xiàn)焦慮、煩躁等不良情緒，那么就需要您以科學(xué)的方式引導(dǎo)孩子舒解情緒、宣泄壓力。同時，鼓勵孩子積極轉(zhuǎn)換視角，多關(guān)注正面信息，增強(qiáng)戰(zhàn)勝疫情的信心，并將危機(jī)轉(zhuǎn)化為成長的契機(jī)。

5. Please pay close attention to your child’s psychological condition: as the date of resuming class at campus gets closer, students may fell nervous,restless during this transition stage.Therefore, we highly recommend parents to talk to your children to understand the situation and guide them out of anxiety,fidgets or other unhealthy psychological conditions.

第六，請科學(xué)指導(dǎo)孩子的開學(xué)生活。即將開學(xué)復(fù)課，家長要引導(dǎo)孩子們逐步調(diào)整生活節(jié)奏，以更好地適應(yīng)校園生活。同時一起和孩子做好返校的各種準(zhǔn)備，保證睡眠充足，營養(yǎng)合理，生活規(guī)律，適度體育鍛煉，提高免疫力。開學(xué)后，請家長加強(qiáng)對電子產(chǎn)品的管控，嚴(yán)格遵守不帶電子產(chǎn)品進(jìn)入校園的規(guī)定，確保孩子實(shí)現(xiàn)線上與線下學(xué)習(xí)的無縫對接、完美過渡。

6. Please assist your child in adjusting their routine: as the date of returning to school is getting closer, students need to adjust their schedules which may different from the timetable of learning online at home.The digital device management policy will be activated at school campus.

高三的同學(xué)們，今年的春暖花開來之不易，眼前的歲月靜好尤顯珍貴。在黨中央的堅強(qiáng)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)下，全國人民眾志成城，同舟共濟(jì)抗擊疫情，對同學(xué)們來說是一份珍貴的成長禮。在這個非常的時期，在校園這個人員密集的環(huán)境中，請務(wù)必嚴(yán)格遵守疫情防控規(guī)定，服從學(xué)校安排，聽從老師指揮，戴口罩、勤洗手，不扎堆、不聚集，專心投入學(xué)習(xí)、主動加強(qiáng)鍛煉，用勤奮、自律、擔(dān)當(dāng)磨礪最好的自己，以飽滿、自信、健康的精神狀態(tài)迎接你們的畢業(yè)季。人勤春來早，奮楫正當(dāng)時。我們相信：經(jīng)歷特殊的磨礪，你們一定會更加善良、更加堅強(qiáng)、更有擔(dān)當(dāng)、更有作為，一定會以更優(yōu)異的成績?yōu)楦咧猩町嬌蠄A滿的句號，不負(fù)韶華，不負(fù)青春。

家長朋友們，每一個家庭都是一所最好的學(xué)校，每一位父母都是孩子一生的榜樣!在您的積極支持下，孩子們安全無虞，疫情也積極向好，我們對您的理解與配合謹(jǐn)致以崇高的敬意!但是，返校復(fù)課不等于疫情解除，因此，希望您能做到：在做好自身防護(hù)的同時，繼續(xù)密切配合學(xué)校做好教育教學(xué)及疫情防控工作，確保孩子開學(xué)前與周末在家的身體健康，加強(qiáng)與老師的溝通，激勵引導(dǎo)孩子努力學(xué)習(xí)、認(rèn)真?zhèn)淇糀P，做好孩子的心理輔導(dǎo)和后勤保障工作。讓我們同舟共濟(jì)，克難攻堅，為迎接抗擊疫情的最后勝利，為把我們的孩子送入心儀的大學(xué)而共同努力!

親愛的家長們、同學(xué)們，春已至，“疫”將去。伴隨春天而來的，是山花爛漫，是國泰民安;是心靈成長，是展翅翱翔。讓我們攜起手來，家校合力，同心戰(zhàn)“疫”，共同創(chuàng)造平安、健康的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境，共同守護(hù)校園純凈、安寧，共同迎接更加美好的明天!

The reopening of schools manifests our country’s progress in epidemic control,which improves the public’s confidence in defeating the outbreak.SCCSC values this unique experience that we have been gone through with students and parents in the past few months, and we appeal to 12th graders as the first batch returning to school to demonstrate the appropriate social distancing behaviour. Furthermore, we plead with parents to act as role models for your children on protecting themselves and their peers during this special post-epidemic stage.

We appreciate our students who are patient and hard-working during this online learning phase, and we are also thankful to parents who have to play several roles at home and still being supportive. We hope the corona virus epidemic will get to the end as soon as possible, and we look forward to a peaceful,safe and effective learning environment for every single SCCSC student.
