中外教師合作教學+融貫中西的雙語課程
研究表明,用雙語學習的學生具備更強的分析和邏輯能力,并且對其他文化有更深層次的理解。諾德安達的雙語教學不僅僅在于培養(yǎng)學生的中英文語言能力,深圳諾德安達學校獨特的雙語課程,以中國國家課程為核心,通過中外籍教師合作備課、合作教學的模式,將語言直接融入到學科教學中。老師們在整個教學過程中進行充分地交流與準備,并通過每一個教學環(huán)節(jié)的合作教學,結合學生反饋,及時調整教學方案,在教授學科知識的同時,開發(fā)孩子大腦,培養(yǎng)孩子的獨立思考和分析能力。
同時,我們的主題式教學方法能夠把中國國家課程與世界先進的教育理念相結合。通過整合同一主題的課程,讓學生懂得如何全面地把這些思想運用到學習之中,學生們不僅知其然,還知其所以然。
The Co-teaching model: NAE bilingual curriculum
Research shows students who learn in two languages are able to develop stronger analytical and thinking skills, as well as greater awareness and understanding of other cultures. Nord Anglia’s bilingual curriculum not only cultivates students' English and Chinese language skills, but provides students with a well-rounded educational experience. Our unique bilingual curriculum at Nord Anglia School Shenzhen uses the Chinese National Curriculum at its core. This is supplemented by an international pedagogical approach which requires both our national and international teachers to work closely as a team to identify the links across their specialist subjects. Teachers share and collaborate throughout the whole process of curriculum delivery and development.
Our thematic approach to the curriculum enables us to make links between the learning outcomes of the Chinese National Curriculum and world-class pedagogy. By integrating a consistent theme for all of the lessons, students are able to see how ideas can be applied holistically to their learning.

Building Culture through Bilingualism
As the future work-place is heading towards innovation and fundamental changes in our jobs, our students need to be able to think critically, be creative and solve problems. Our bilingual curriculum ensures that our students retain their Chinese language skills and culture. This is further supported with elements from our unique Nord Anglia collaborations with MIT, Juilliard and UNICEF to prepare the students for the world stage.
