As our lives are gradually getting back on track, the date for schools to re-open is approaching. During this unusual holiday, our students have been working hard through the Nord Anglia Education Virtual Learning Experience, while our schools are getting themselves ready for the new semester.

Especially for our boarding students – going back to school will be just like going back home. With our new accommodation and sound boarding management, our dedicated teachers will inspire children to be personally, socially and academically ambitious, and prepare them to be independent for the world of tomorrow.

Comfortable Boarding Spaces

為了保證集體生活的合理社交和居住舒適度，學(xué)校宿舍為3人一間。每個(gè)房間都配備空調(diào)和空氣凈化器，以及采光充足的窗戶，為孩子們提供舒適明亮的居住環(huán)境。

每間宿舍配備2組衛(wèi)浴設(shè)施和24小時(shí)不間斷熱水，即使在早晚洗漱的高峰時(shí)間，也能保證讓孩子們的從容打理個(gè)人衛(wèi)生。

寬敞明亮的食堂擁有充足的座位，不同年級孩子分批錯(cuò)時(shí)就餐。健康均衡的餐飲和點(diǎn)心由專業(yè)營養(yǎng)專家定制，全天供應(yīng)。

宿舍公關(guān)區(qū)域不僅提供了孩子們休息、閱讀和休閑的場所，更是不同班級同學(xué)之間互相交流的平臺。

Our spacious rooms comfortably accommodate up to 4 students, with each room equipped with an air conditioner, air purifier and well-lit windows to provide bright and cozy living space.

En-Suite bathrooms and 24-hour hot water supply make sure our students take their time washing and cleaning even at peak usage time.

Children in different grades stagger their meal time in the spacious and bright enough canteen. We provide a healthy and balanced food service according to nutritionists’ advice throughout the day.

The public area of the dormitory provides not only a place for children to relax, but also a platform for them to communicate with each other.

寄宿的同學(xué)涵蓋所有年級，對于低年級的孩子，獨(dú)立生活算是比較高的要求。

諾德安達(dá)最為關(guān)心的就是孩子的身心健康。因此選擇在學(xué)校寄宿的孩子，學(xué)校都會給予更多的關(guān)心和幫助。專職的宿舍老師就是為此而設(shè)。宿管老師也被稱為代管家長，因?yàn)閺膶W(xué)習(xí)生活，到心理健康，他們和家長一樣給予同學(xué)們無微不至的關(guān)懷。他們與同學(xué)們一起住在學(xué)校，協(xié)調(diào)每個(gè)同學(xué)的生活需求，并永遠(yuǎn)聆聽孩子們的聲音。

在關(guān)懷學(xué)生的同時(shí)，宿舍老師也非常注重培養(yǎng)獨(dú)立能力，不但監(jiān)督每個(gè)孩子養(yǎng)成規(guī)律的生活作息，加強(qiáng)他們自我管理的能力，還會定期組織培養(yǎng)獨(dú)立生活技能的主題競賽。

Our boarding students are from all different grades. But for some of the junior students, independent living can cause anxiety in their new environment.

The physical and mental health of students is Nord Anglia’s top priority. The school therefore provides extra care and support to the boarding students. This is why we have House Masters/Mistresses, who are also known as House parents, as they live at school and provide the students with meticulous care from their study to wellbeing.

On top of that, our house masters/mistresses attach importance to developing children’s independence. They not only help students get into a regular routine and improve their self-management ability, but also organize competitions on living skills periodically.

制度嚴(yán)格，保障安全

Secure and Safe

保障孩子的安全和健康，是學(xué)校最基本也是最重要的職責(zé)之一。

如無預(yù)約并出示正規(guī)的證件，學(xué)校不允許任何外來訪客進(jìn)入校園。宿舍更有嚴(yán)格的門禁規(guī)定，除了事先請假同學(xué)，所有同學(xué)必須在規(guī)定時(shí)間內(nèi)回到宿舍，未經(jīng)宿舍老師允許，也不可隨意外出。

固定的起床和就寢時(shí)間，幫助孩子們建立規(guī)律的生活習(xí)慣。宿舍老師也會嚴(yán)格規(guī)定電子產(chǎn)品的使用時(shí)間。只有在規(guī)定時(shí)間，同學(xué)們才可以使用電子產(chǎn)品與家人聯(lián)系。

諾德安達(dá)校園內(nèi)有24小時(shí)工作的全職醫(yī)護(hù)人員，保證同學(xué)們在任何有需要的時(shí)候可以第一時(shí)間獲得醫(yī)療幫助。

Students’ safety and wellbeing are also very important.

Visitors are not allowed to enter the campus without an appointment and valid identification. Entrance control to the dormitory is even stricter. All boarding students must be back to their dorms within the required time, and no one is allowed to leave the dorm without permission from the house masters/mistresses.

Settled boarding schedules help students acquire a regular living habit. Our house masters/mistresses also strictly regulate the use time of electronic products. Only in prescribed time, boarding students are allowed to use electronic products to contact with their families.

Our full-time medical staffs stand-by in campus for 24 hours a day to ensure students have access to medical help whenever they need it.

A home away from home

House(學(xué)院)制度是英國寄宿制學(xué)校古已有之的傳統(tǒng)。我們學(xué)校的“諾”“德”“安”“達(dá)”4個(gè)學(xué)院，打破班級和年級的壁壘，將不同年齡的同學(xué)分配到同一學(xué)院中，通過各種不同的活動(dòng)、競賽，讓不同年齡的孩子協(xié)同合作又互相競爭，以此建立起集體榮譽(yù)感和合作精神，并提前體驗(yàn)無論什么年齡或性別，唯有避個(gè)人之短，方可揚(yáng)團(tuán)隊(duì)之長，從而勝任未來的任何工作。

選擇在學(xué)校寄宿的同學(xué)，也有豐富的課后活動(dòng)，包括閱讀、體育鍛煉和競賽等。同學(xué)們通過這類活動(dòng)增長知識和技能的同時(shí)，更培養(yǎng)出對于不同文化背景的高度包容和充分尊重，了解這個(gè)世界存在很多種不同的意見和聲音，為未來步入全球各地的高校，做好了迎接多元文化的準(zhǔn)備。

The house system is a tradition in British boarding schools. Nord Anglia schools have four houses, which are “Nuo” (Honesty), “De”(Integrity), “An”(Serenity) and “Da”(Fortitude), and students of various ages are assigned to the same house. They cooperate and compete with each other in different activities so as to build up a sense of group honor and team building spirit. Students will understand that teamwork can enhance everyone’s strengths. This enables them to be prepared for any work in the future.

Our boarding students enjoy abundant after school activities including reading and sports. Through these activities students not only increase their knowledge and skills, but also develop deep understanding and full respect for different cultural backgrounds. By understanding that there are various opinions and voices in the world, they prepare themselves to enter universities around the world and embrace diverse cultures in the future.

寄宿生活也能提升孩子們的社交能力。同學(xué)們與自己的宿舍老師、學(xué)長學(xué)弟在同一屋檐下朝夕相處，并合作完成小組項(xiàng)目，這就要求孩子們充分發(fā)揮溝通技巧，能夠與不同性格和背景的人順暢交流，在兼顧大家情緒的同時(shí)，達(dá)到合作完成項(xiàng)目的目的。

Boarding life also improves students’ social skills. Living together with their teachers and fellow students from different grades, they are always improving their communication skills, and get along with people with different personalities and backgrounds to achieve collective goals.

With multi-cultural views and global perspective, our students develop their communication and cooperation in Nord Anglia’s boarding programme, which prepares them to become world’s change makers and future leaders.
