對(duì)于許多人和小孩來說,留在家里鍛煉身體是一件很困難的事情,就讓TWIS的體育部Robert Loftman 老師和Jorge Villamayor 老師給大家一點(diǎn)動(dòng)力,助你足不出戶也可以實(shí)現(xiàn)健康目標(biāo)。

Getting healthy and staying fit can be a struggle for many people and children while staying at home, but with a little motivation from our PE Team, Mr. Robert Loftman and Mr. Jorge Villamayor at TWIS, we know that you can achieve your fitness and health goals even you cannot go outside.

受新型冠狀病毒疫情的持續(xù)困擾,TWIS不得不關(guān)閉校園的健身和體育設(shè)施,但這無阻我們繼續(xù)教學(xué)的工作!我們調(diào)動(dòng)相關(guān)的人力和資源到TWIS線上課堂,讓學(xué)生仍然有機(jī)會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)所有科目,并從中發(fā)展他們的技能。因此,體育部必須發(fā)揮創(chuàng)意,掌握通過視頻會(huì)議向所有學(xué)生提供富有挑戰(zhàn)性的體育課程。有了這個(gè)平臺(tái),學(xué)生就像在教室里學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)營(yíng)養(yǎng)和運(yùn)動(dòng)的知識(shí)或在球場(chǎng)上流著汗運(yùn)動(dòng)一樣。

As the outbreak of the Coronavirus continues to rattle the beloved country of China, we had to close all our health, fitness and sports facilities in our beautiful campus; however, that didn't stop us from continuing the teaching and learning process! We managed to mobilize our TWIS Virtual School where students still have the opportunity to learn and develop their skills in all the subjects that we offer as a school. With that said the PE Department had to get creative and master the art of offering the robust PE Curriculum virtually to all students through a video conference platform. With this platform, it is almost like the students are in the classroom learning about nutrition and fitness or sweating it out on the courts.


此外,作為體育教師,我們很清楚教學(xué)可以通過許多不同的形式進(jìn)行。我們利用Microsoft Teams與學(xué)生以視頻會(huì)議方式授課,他們可以在線上看到老師和同學(xué)們一起做平常在學(xué)校操練的運(yùn)動(dòng)動(dòng)作。有了這種替代的教學(xué)方式,我們的學(xué)生能夠享受課堂的每一刻。利用線上平臺(tái),體育老師不但親身示范,還會(huì)跟學(xué)生們一起做練習(xí)來激發(fā)大家的學(xué)習(xí)興趣、即時(shí)回答學(xué)生的問題、在線陪伴來鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生、通過創(chuàng)意有趣味的運(yùn)動(dòng)練習(xí)和例行活動(dòng)來激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,使他們保持活躍、體態(tài)和健康,并期待在我們的指導(dǎo)下學(xué)生對(duì)體育領(lǐng)域的興趣日益增加。

Furthermore, as PE Teachers we know that teaching can be done through many different means. We can deliver our classes through the Microsoft Teams by video conferencing with our students where they see us and their classmates performing the various exercises and drills that we would normally do at school. With this vicarious way of teaching and learning our students are able to enjoy every waking moment of classes. We have also used the virtual platform to motivate students by demonstrating and doing the exercises with them, encourage students by answering their questions and being there for them virtually, stimulate students by using creative exercises and routines to keep them active, fit & healthy and develop students' interest more in the subject area on a daily basis through our instructions.


憑著兩位老師對(duì)體育的熱情,相信學(xué)生們能感受到和看到老師盡職盡責(zé),因?yàn)檫@是TWIS體育部履行“希望、探索,存于我息”的推動(dòng)力。

Finally, with our passion for the subject area, our kids have seen that great thrust of commitment in what we do as PE Teachers here at TWIS and that is the main driving force behind the PE Department delivering on the promise of "While I breathe, I explore, I hope.".

10 Tips for a Healthy Body and Mind While At Home


1.保持活力,每天運(yùn)動(dòng)鍛煉20-30分鐘。

Remain motivated by exercising 20- 30 minutes each day.

2.列出每天的運(yùn)動(dòng)清單。

Make a list of daily exercises you can do.

3.多喝水。

Drink a lot of water.

4.多動(dòng)少坐。

Play more and sit less.

5.多吃水果和蔬菜。

Eat lots of fruits and vegetables.

6.充足睡眠。

Get enough rest.

7.如果可能,請(qǐng)爸媽幫你做運(yùn)動(dòng)。

Ask parents to help you exercise if possible.

8.看看不同健身運(yùn)動(dòng)視頻找點(diǎn)子

Watch exercising videos for ideas.

踏入線上課堂的第三周,我們很高興看到學(xué)生越來越投入到網(wǎng)絡(luò)學(xué)習(xí)中,努力認(rèn)真做功課,并享受當(dāng)中的樂趣。

學(xué)生的身心健康是我們最關(guān)心的。體育課順利以線上模式進(jìn)行,讓學(xué)生能每天堅(jiān)持運(yùn)動(dòng),從而鼓勵(lì)他們培養(yǎng)健康的生活習(xí)慣。以下的視頻收錄了一些TWIS學(xué)生提交的精彩體育練習(xí)。希望能激勵(lì)大家留在家里也不忘時(shí)刻鍛煉身體!

Stepping into the third week of Virtual School, we love to see our students have become more engaged in e-learning, working hard on the homework and enjoying doing so.

Wellbeing and health of our students is our prime concern. PE classes are adapted virtually so that students can stay physically active on a daily basis, and hence help them to establish healthy habits and routines in a supportive environment. We have edited a video with brilliant PE homework collected from some TWIS students. Hope you enjoy watching it and get motivated to exercise regularly while staying at home!
