First Day Back to SAIS Delayed Until Feb. 17 深美國際學(xué)

深美國際延遲開學(xué)至2月17日，與大家攜手共克時(shí)艱

　　Dear Members of the SAIS Community,

　　The Guangdong Provincial Leading Group for Pneumonia Prevention and Control of New Coronavirus Infection launched the first-level response to a major public health emergency on Jan. 23, 2020. According to this level of response to the requirements for epidemic control and the instructions from Shenzhen Education Bureau, SAIS is following the government expectations and requirements as below,

　　SAIS would like to do a baseline screening on faculty and student families who have traveled to Wuhan city or any cities in Hubei Province in January. For the safety of SAIS faculty and students, please make sure to report to the school to fill in the form as soon as possible by emailing at school@szsais.org.

　　All international schools excluding high school level are required to be closed till Feb. 17. SAIS faculty report for PD day and the school preparation on Feb.14. SAIS students return to school on Feb. 17.

　　When the school resumes, all faculty, students, parents and visitors should be taken temperature before entering the campus. The main gate will be in a half gateopen, students are required to line up for temperature taking.

　　SAIS will keep track of students and faculty’s attendance daily and report to the related office accordingly. Please ask for sick leaves for your child and don't send any child who might have a fever with similar symptoms to school.

　　SAIS will continue working closely with the education and health authorities andtake the precautions for students’ safety.

　　SAIS reminds you to stay away from crowds and wear masks in public and also to wash hands frequently.

　　SAIS encourages students to continue the habit of reading at home during the break. Teachers will also be communicating after the scheduled break is over with at home or on-line assignments. Please check your classdojo frequently. Room parents will also help to communicate with your teacher if any questions.

　　2020年1月23日，廣東省防控新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情工作領(lǐng)導(dǎo)小組啟動(dòng)重大突發(fā)公共衛(wèi)生事件最高級(jí)別的一級(jí)響應(yīng)。根據(jù)該級(jí)別響應(yīng)對(duì)疫情控制的要求和深圳市教育局的指示，深美國際學(xué)校按照政府要求和指示安排如下：

　　深美國際學(xué)校將對(duì)全校師生寒假是否途徑逗留湖北其他城市和武漢進(jìn)行摸底排查。為了深美全體師生的安全，請(qǐng)確保主動(dòng)報(bào)告給學(xué)校，盡快填表并發(fā)郵件至school@szsais.org.

　　除了高中階段的所有國際學(xué)校要求推遲至2月17日開學(xué)。深美教職工于2月14日返校報(bào)到接受培訓(xùn)并做好開學(xué)準(zhǔn)備工作。深美學(xué)生于2月17日返校上學(xué)。

　　學(xué)校開學(xué)后，所有教職工、學(xué)生、家長及來訪者需要接受體溫檢測方能進(jìn)入校園。學(xué)校大門只開一半，學(xué)生須排隊(duì)測體溫入學(xué)。

　　深美將每日記錄學(xué)生及員工考勤并報(bào)告相關(guān)部門。如您的孩子有發(fā)燒或可疑癥狀請(qǐng)向?qū)W校請(qǐng)假并留在家里觀察。

　　深美將持續(xù)緊密與教育部門和衛(wèi)生機(jī)構(gòu)保持聯(lián)系并為學(xué)生安全采取防護(hù)措施。

　　深美提醒您遠(yuǎn)離人群并在公共場合戴口罩，并且勤洗手。

　　深美鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生在放假期間保持良好的閱讀習(xí)慣。老師將在原計(jì)劃的返校日后與您保持溝通，安排學(xué)生在家或網(wǎng)上學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)。請(qǐng)保持查看classdojo信息。如有任何疑問，班級(jí)家長也會(huì)協(xié)助與老師溝通。
