“學(xué)院制”起源于英格蘭,盛行于英聯(lián)邦國(guó)家傳統(tǒng)學(xué)校之中,至今已有數(shù)百年的悠久歷史。
它不僅存在于魔幻小說哈利波特中,更是許多世界名校始終沿用的運(yùn)行模式。創(chuàng)建學(xué)院的初衷,在于幫助初來乍到的新生們找到最初的集體,建立他們強(qiáng)烈的歸屬感。隨著時(shí)間的推移,時(shí)代的變遷,時(shí)至今日學(xué)院制亦有了其愈發(fā)深厚的底蘊(yùn)和更為飽滿的內(nèi)涵。通過融合不同專業(yè)、不同背景的學(xué)生,學(xué)院創(chuàng)造了協(xié)同合作和相互競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的環(huán)境,進(jìn)一步延伸了學(xué)生思維的寬度和深度;通過積分制,學(xué)院幫助學(xué)生建立集體榮譽(yù)感,并充分給予學(xué)生在集體中展現(xiàn)自我價(jià)值的機(jī)會(huì),讓每一位學(xué)生在各自的集體中散發(fā)光芒。
我們也和所有諾德安達(dá)姐妹校一樣,將通過建立“學(xué)院制”管理學(xué)生的日常與活動(dòng)。在學(xué)期之初,學(xué)校便會(huì)舉行分院儀式,每位學(xué)生將被選入專屬的學(xué)院,學(xué)院的名字也將一直伴隨他們直到畢業(yè)。
同一個(gè)學(xué)院中擁有來自不同年級(jí)的學(xué)生,此舉打破了以年級(jí)分層的傳統(tǒng)校園管理模式,通過縱向的社區(qū)化管理,提升學(xué)生的團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神和友好競(jìng)爭(zhēng)意識(shí),為培養(yǎng)集體榮譽(yù)感和歸屬感建立了必不可少的平臺(tái)。
Houses originated in England and are popular intraditional schools with hundreds of years of history. The House system createscompetition, promotes good work and behaviour, encourages teamwork, providesopportunities to take on responsibilities and brings everyone in the schooltogether.
At NAS Guangzhou, through establishing Houses, we intend to help our studentsfind their own group and have a sense of belonging. Houses create a competitiveand cooperative environment and the points-based system helps students build asense of group pride. Every student belongs to one House and will remain in thesame House for their whole school life.
諾德安達(dá)學(xué)校的學(xué)院由校名分解而來,深遠(yuǎn)的意義寄托著諾校對(duì)萬千學(xué)子的期望,承載著學(xué)校“安達(dá)勵(lì)志、志在高遠(yuǎn)”的育人目標(biāo)。今天,我們將帶領(lǐng)大家一起揭開諾校四大學(xué)院的面紗。

學(xué)院之期望
Event Highlights
對(duì)學(xué)生而言,學(xué)院是獨(dú)立于班級(jí)的另一個(gè)集體。
它把各年級(jí)的學(xué)生縱向貫通地聯(lián)系在了一起,小至班級(jí),大至年級(jí),全校所有學(xué)生都被平均地選入不同的學(xué)院中。
全校性的體育競(jìng)賽、學(xué)術(shù)活動(dòng)和社會(huì)活動(dòng),都將以學(xué)院為單位。
四個(gè)學(xué)院既相對(duì)獨(dú)立又緊密相連,既有競(jìng)爭(zhēng)亦有協(xié)作。當(dāng)各學(xué)院的學(xué)生匯聚在一起,便有了“諾德安達(dá)”,也有了我們的學(xué)校。
來自四個(gè)不同學(xué)院的學(xué)生,在充滿夢(mèng)想和汗水的校園內(nèi)快樂健康地成長(zhǎng),煉就強(qiáng)壯的體魄、打開智慧的雙眼、塑造通達(dá)的心靈,希望他們像光明溫暖的向日葵一樣,永遠(yuǎn)向著太陽。
For students, houses are groups independent from class, which connect children from every grade. All students are elected to represent in different Houses in school competitions, academic and social activities. The four Houses are independent but connected through competition and cooperation. When the students come together, we have NAS Guangzhou.
Students in the four Houses will grow in our ambitious environment to develop healthy attitudes and open minds and have respect from all, for all.
