The day has come! PICLC 2019 Olympics Sports day! A joyous occasion filled with fun, games and endless competition! PICLC終於迎來了家長和孩子們期盼已久的2019 奧林匹克運(yùn)動會！一個充滿趣味的運(yùn)動競技日！

PICLC終於迎來了家長和孩子們期盼已久的2019 奧林匹克運(yùn)動會!一個充滿趣味的運(yùn)動競技日!

In preparation for such an auspicious event, our students and parents arrived dressed in attire representing 12 different countries to emphasize and represent the diversity as well as multi-cultures and nationalities that participate in the Olympics every 4 years.

為了通過這一盛大的活動，讓孩子們感受到每四年為一屆的奧林匹克運(yùn)動會，除了競爭和公平外，還有著怎樣的多元文化和民族多樣性?家長和老師們精心準(zhǔn)備了代表著12個不同國家的盛裝，以表達(dá)對文化差異的包容和理解。

As the time arrived for the opening ceremony, we started off by proudly singing our PICLC school song, followed by a dazzling parade giving each of our students a chance to boast, shout their slogans and build their spirits.

一切準(zhǔn)備就緒，運(yùn)動會在開幕儀式中拉開序幕，孩子們驕傲地吟唱著PICLC校歌。每個班級都是炫目的遊行隊(duì)伍、大聲吶喊著集體的口號，彰顯了我們心中的奧林匹克精神。

This was followed by a warm up activity to get everyone ready for action before we took off to the actual games. Everyone’s faces filled with enthusiasm, eager and ready to participate to take home the medal!

緊接著是動感躍動的熱身操，讓大家為賽前做好準(zhǔn)備。每個家庭的臉上都洋溢著熱情和希望，準(zhǔn)備為贏得金牌而戰(zhàn)。

The goal of the day was to teach the students a little more about the actual Olympics and games were chosen that represent actual events occurring at the Olympics, allowing students to learn more about the event and all its history. Parents were also given the opportunity to participate alongside their children to turn our event not only into an individual competition, but also a family sports day.

此次運(yùn)動會的宗旨是教會孩子們體會真正的奧林匹克精神，選則代表真實(shí)存在於奧林匹克運(yùn)動會上的比賽項(xiàng)目的遊戲，是為了讓孩子們了解更多關(guān)於奧林匹克運(yùn)動會的比賽項(xiàng)目和歷史。家長更有機(jī)會一同參與到比賽項(xiàng)目當(dāng)中，完美詮釋了這不僅僅是一場個人比賽，更是一場親子運(yùn)動比賽。

At PICLC we encourage our students to participate on different levels and in different international events allowing them to learn and develop on an international level to grow into the future leaders one day at a time.

在PICLC，我們鼓勵孩子參與不同文化的國際活動，讓孩子們具有國際視野，進(jìn)而促進(jìn)學(xué)習(xí)與發(fā)展，成長為明日領(lǐng)袖!!!
