二年級學(xué)生返校啦!先給各位新、老同學(xué)及家長問好,說一聲“歡迎來到SLIS”!新學(xué)年、新學(xué)期,我們很樂意與大家一起分享二年級的學(xué)習(xí)、探究之旅。暑假過后,我們長高了,身體也更強壯了,也準(zhǔn)備好重新返校開始學(xué)習(xí)、研究、探索和分享所學(xué)的新知識了。

Grade 2 want to say a big hello and welcome back to all the students and parents in SLIS, new and returning. We would like to share with you our journey into the new school year. After growing taller and stronger over the summer holidays, we have jumped back into the swing of things and started learning, researching, experimenting and sharing our knowledge.
二年級學(xué)生返校啦!先給各位新、老同學(xué)及家長問好,說一聲“歡迎來到SLIS”!新學(xué)年、新學(xué)期,我們很樂意與大家一起分享二年級的學(xué)習(xí)、探究之旅。暑假過后,我們長高了,身體也更強壯了,也準(zhǔn)備好重新返校開始學(xué)習(xí)、研究、探索和分享所學(xué)的新知識了。
Our first unit has allowed us to develop and learn routines with our teachers in school so that we know what our school day looks like and, become more independent when getting ready for different classes and lunchtimes. We have been learning all about how to live a healthy life and that different choices about what we do or eat, will lead to very different consequences.
在老師的指導(dǎo)下,新學(xué)期第一單元的探究課上我們一起學(xué)習(xí)并制定了二年級共享的日常作息表。這樣我們就可以清楚地了解自己每天在學(xué)校的日常安排,變得更獨立。同時可以根據(jù)作息表自己排隊去上課、吃飯。開學(xué)這幾周,我們一直在學(xué)習(xí)如何才能擁有健康的生活方式以及怎樣才能做出正確的生活選擇。
We have been learning about how food can give us the nutrients we need to grow up to be strong and healthy and about how it gives us energy to come to school and learn new things every day. But where does food go after it enters the body? This was one of many questions we asked as we inquired into this unit in class. With the help of our new innovation and tech teacher Ms Tracey, we used a new app on our Ipads called Virtuali-tee. This allowed us to see what was inside our body – it was interesting to see all the organs that are in my belly on this app! Mr Riley also joined us in this inquiry and showed us how to take our pulse using the stethoscope – but we couldn’t find the pulse on Mr Bones the skeleton!
另外,我們還學(xué)習(xí)了不同的食物是如何為我們的健康成長和日常學(xué)習(xí)提供所需營養(yǎng)及能量的?!拔覀兂缘氖澄锶チ四睦?”是我們在探究過程中提出的眾多問題之一。為幫助我們找到答案,科技老師Ms.Tracey帶上特制T恤和新科技走進(jìn)了我們的探究課堂。我們在平板電腦上用一款叫Virtuali-tee的應(yīng)用程序掃描特制T恤后就能清晰地看到身體內(nèi)部的各個器官及各器官的內(nèi)部構(gòu)造。這簡直太酷了!體育老師Mr.Riley也加入了我們本單元的探究課,為我們展示了如何使用聽診器測量脈搏和心跳??上У氖俏覀兡壳斑€不能為我們的“骷髏先生”測脈搏!
We have lots more to learn in this unit and are very excited to go on our field trip to a supermarket this week where we have the opportunity to find answers to some of our other questions such as: ‘Is a tomato a fruit or a vegetable?’ ‘EAT YOUR GREENS – Are all vegetables green?’ We are looking forward to when our family members join us for the learning celebration at the end of the unit where they will find out all the new things we are going to learn in the next few weeks!

關(guān)于這一單元我們要學(xué)的還有很多。這個星期我們還要去參觀附近的超市食品區(qū)。我們有很多關(guān)于食物的問題急需解答?!拔骷t柿是蔬菜還是水果?”“多吃點蔬菜-所有的蔬菜都是綠色的嗎?”等找到答案,我們就可以在這一單元結(jié)束的學(xué)習(xí)成果展上講給爸爸媽媽聽,還可以向他們展示更多我們要學(xué)的東西!
