在這一周里，我旁聽了許多飽含關(guān)懷的老師們所提供的精彩課程。我看到學(xué)生們正在學(xué)習(xí)使用顯微鏡，認(rèn)識細(xì)胞不同組成部分的名稱，練習(xí)西班牙語的字母，在第三級西班牙語課中相互交談，使用CSS標(biāo)簽進(jìn)行實(shí)驗(yàn)，了解微積分中的排列組合，討論文學(xué)相關(guān)話題，撰寫論文，使用3D建模的草圖理解建筑結(jié)構(gòu)。學(xué)生們在RDF國際學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)并使用的詞匯，學(xué)習(xí)技能和工具時常讓我感到驚奇

Dear Families and Employees,

親愛的各位家長、員工們，

We have had a wonderful week together.
我們一同度過了美好的一周。

Throughout the week, I observed wonderful lessons by caring instructors. I saw students learn to use a microscope, name the parts of a cell, practice the Spanish alphabet, converse in Level 3 Spanish, experiment with CSS tags, learn about permutations and combinations in Pre-Calculus, discuss literature, write essays, and sketch architectural structures using 3D perspective. I’m continually amazed by the vocabulary, skills, and tools our students study and use at RDF International School.

Moreover, on Wednesday night, the student club market was a success. Students recruited other students to join their clubs, which offer service, teach a skill or subject, or otherwise enjoy learning, creating, or performing together. Some clubs are listed below.

此外，在周三晚上，學(xué)生社團(tuán)招新活動取得了圓滿的成功。學(xué)生們招募了許多的伙伴加入他們的俱樂部，這些社團(tuán)提供不同的服務(wù)，教授不同的技能或是共同創(chuàng)建不同的主題，以各種的方式一同享受學(xué)習(xí)，創(chuàng)作或一起表演。部分的社團(tuán)名單列表見下文。

Additionally, on Thursday afternoon, our middle school soccer teams played against other schools in Shenzhen. The boys won both of their two matches against BASIS and Green OASIS! Though the girls lost, they played well. The coaches wrote more detail, which is posted on the School’s official WeChat account, which we invite you to follow.
此外，本周四下午，我校初中足球隊(duì)與深圳的其他國際學(xué)校展開了激烈的比拼。男隊(duì)在對陣貝賽斯和城市綠洲學(xué)校的比賽中，將兩位對手雙雙斬落馬下！女隊(duì)盡管與比賽的勝利失之交臂，但絲毫不妨礙她們在賽場上的杰出的表現(xiàn)與發(fā)揮。更多關(guān)于比賽的戰(zhàn)況細(xì)節(jié)，來自教練們的描述，都發(fā)布在學(xué)校的官方微信賬號上，我們期待您的關(guān)注。

Meanwhile, on Thursday night, students and faculty enjoyed basketball games together. The high school boys and teachers took turns winning, while all enjoyed camaraderie together.
周四的晚上，學(xué)生和教師們進(jìn)行了籃球比賽。高中男隊(duì)和教師們輪流獲勝，比賽的過程貫穿著彼此間友愛的情誼。

Finally, on Friday, the Black Bulls pulled ahead in the House Competition for August 2019 for excellence in study, use of English, participation in class, service, and other model student behaviors.
最后，在周五，“黑公牛”在2019年8月的比賽中，在學(xué)習(xí)，英語的使用和課堂的參與，服務(wù)和學(xué)生模范行為等各方面都取得了優(yōu)異的成績。
And on Friday, over 20 parents joined Dr. Aurora Wang on RDFIS campus to discuss a book on how to raise children with social awareness and social skill. Thank you, Dr. Wang and parents!
