新學(xué)年即將開始，我想正式地歡迎你們加入中黃(世界)書院。無論你是返校生還是新生，你們能進(jìn)入我們的2019-2020學(xué)年，我們感到非常地高興。

Dear Parents and Students：

The new school year is about to begin, and I would like to officially welcome you to ZWWC. Whether you are a returning student or new, we are so happy to have you joining us for the 2019-2020 school year.

新學(xué)年即將開始，我想正式地歡迎你們加入中黃(世界)書院。無論你是返校生還是新生，你們能進(jìn)入我們的2019-2020學(xué)年，我們感到非常地高興。

Lots of exciting things are happening at ZWWC and it is all for you! Our students’ bi-lingual skills are a focus for teachers as well as their academics. To be successful in the 21st?Century, proficiency in Mandarin and English will make you a valuable contributor to the community and to your family. We are also offering more opportunities for parents to communicate with staff regarding their children’s progress and to bring their concerns. Parents are also invited to meet with the Principal in an open discussion time on Friday afternoon. And for current and up to date information on students grades all parents will have access to the SchoolPal program.

中黃(世界)書院發(fā)生了很多令人興奮的事情，而這一切都是為了你們的到來！我們學(xué)生具備的雙語能力，和他們的學(xué)術(shù)課程一樣，都是老師們關(guān)注的焦點(diǎn)。為了在21世紀(jì)取得成功，漢語和英語的精通將使你成為社區(qū)和家庭的寶貴貢獻(xiàn)者。我們還為家長提供了更多機(jī)會(huì)，就家長的關(guān)注點(diǎn)和孩子的成長，與全體員工進(jìn)行溝通。家長們還可以預(yù)約周五下午的時(shí)間與我們的校長見面。對于學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)態(tài)，所有家長都可以通過學(xué)校的校寶系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行查詢。


This past week the students have been very busy and involved in learning. Our new students left on Sunday afternoon to attend Camp which is located in Foshan from the week. Under the guidance of their instructors the students engaged in team building activities which helps to understanding the importance of team work even in the classroom.

在過去的這一周里，學(xué)生已經(jīng)開始很忙碌起來，投入到學(xué)習(xí)中。我們的新學(xué)生在周日下午離開學(xué)校去到佛山的一個(gè)營地參加拓展訓(xùn)練。在導(dǎo)師的指導(dǎo)下，學(xué)生們進(jìn)行團(tuán)隊(duì)建設(shè)的活動(dòng)，這將有助于學(xué)生理解團(tuán)隊(duì)工作的重要性，即使是在課堂上。


Our returning students started their week completing a personality analysis. The goal of knowing about personality type is to understand and appreciate differences between people. As all personality types are equal, there is no best type. The students did additional work in researching careers that would best fit their personalities and then looking at the Universities best known for these careers and the admission requirements. After two days of working on this and providing a presentation they joined our new students at camp.

All students returned on Friday afternoon and they received their timetables and their textbooks for the new school year.

所有的學(xué)生都在星期五下午回來。他們已經(jīng)收到了新學(xué)年的上課時(shí)間表和課本。

The quality of our program is at the center of your success. Our teachers have been recruited from some of the best schools from around the world. They are experienced teachers, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about what they teach and fully committed to our students’ learning. Each teacher strives to develop close relationships with their students because understanding them is critical when supporting their learning. It is also important to learning that the students know the teachers care about their welfare and academic success.

This is ZWWC’s second year and it will be both a promising and favorable year for all students. Thank you for being part of our learning community! Your learning, growth and success is our mission as an educator!

管理經(jīng)驗(yàn)：43年美國公立、私立學(xué)校及國際學(xué)校全面運(yùn)營的工作經(jīng)歷；含30年以上的學(xué)校行政管理經(jīng)驗(yàn)及國際學(xué)校籌建與發(fā)展的項(xiàng)目管理經(jīng)驗(yàn)Rich experience in American Public and Private School and Chinese International School operation and management.
