在艾米麗卡爾藝術(shù)設(shè)計大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)的一個月中,10名中加學(xué)子展示出了非凡的創(chuàng)作靈感,為夏校課程結(jié)束的校內(nèi)作品展增添了華彩。
During the one-month’s learning and creation process at Emily Carr University of Art & Design, 10 SCCSC students all show their outstanding creative inspiration and provide quite appealing parts of the final exhibition.

鄧紫晗(Jenny)
艾米莉卡爾藝術(shù)設(shè)計大學(xué)的學(xué)習(xí)生活讓我感受頗豐。首先,我學(xué)的是傳統(tǒng)插畫,學(xué)習(xí)過程中我了解并嘗試了很多未曾使用過的繪畫形式,拓寬了自己的認(rèn)知。其次,我見識了來自各地的學(xué)生在作品上風(fēng)格迥異,其實就像不同的思想碰撞在一起是件很有趣的事。最后也比較重要的是,在聽課和課堂交流中我發(fā)現(xiàn)了在語言上許多的不足,幸運的是現(xiàn)在仍然有足夠的時間去彌補缺陷。
The study experience in Emily Carr University of Art & Design enriches my mind. Firstly, the major I have learnt is Traditional Illustration. During the learning process, I got to know and tried drawing techniques that I never used before, which broadens my mind. Secondly, I have accessed the differences of the drawing styles from students coming from different parts of the world. It is just like the process of collision of ideas, which is interesting. Finally, another important thing I got to aware is that I find the language gaps in my classroom learning and communication. Luckily, I still have enough time to fill this gap.

經(jīng)過一個月的夏校學(xué)習(xí)以后,我學(xué)習(xí)到了很多新的手繪技法,也為自己之前的作畫方式查漏補缺了很多。短短一個月的時間能有這么大的進步,這是在我去之前完全沒有想到的。不僅如此,每天乘公交車上下學(xué)也讓我感受到了楓葉國人民的生活方式,甚至為兩國公交車的設(shè)計做出了對比。能在異國度過一個月,感受不同的生活,我覺得挺好的。
The one-month learning experience enables me to gain many new drawing techniques and also helps in adjusting my previous drawing styles a lot. I have never thought that I can make such a big progress before I make this journey. Besides, taking bus for school travelling helps me to access the living style of Canada and I also made comparison between the bus design of Canada and China. It is good to experience an exotic atmosphere within one month.

在加拿大近一個月的學(xué)習(xí)當(dāng)中,我得到了許多前所未有的經(jīng)歷,去了解了加拿大的風(fēng)俗文化,也了解到了加拿大的教學(xué)方式。我之所以會報名這個夏校是因為我認(rèn)為艾米麗卡爾是加拿大頂尖的藝術(shù)院校,去那里我相信可以得到許多對將來申請藝術(shù)大學(xué)有幫助的經(jīng)驗,也可以讓暑期空余時間變得充實,不再無所事事。
One-month study in Canada enriches my leaning and living experiences. I got to know the culture of Canada and the teaching style of it. The reason why I enroll this summer course is that I believe Emily Carr University of Art & Design is a great art institution in Canada and I can gain many experiences which is helpful in applying for the art universities and also enriches my summer life.

我在艾米莉卡爾藝術(shù)設(shè)計大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)的是工業(yè)設(shè)計專業(yè),學(xué)習(xí)到了一些關(guān)于工業(yè)設(shè)計的專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)知識,感覺對未來職業(yè)發(fā)展有用。我也體驗了西方大學(xué)教學(xué)。老師上課會很隨和,并且針對性強,細(xì)心指導(dǎo)每一個學(xué)生并且指出不足和需要去解決的點,最終讓學(xué)生做出屬于自己的東西。
The major I chose is Industrial Design and I reckon this knowledge would be useful in my future career plan. I have also experienced the western-university teaching. The teachers there are very friendly and care for each student. They teach students and guide them to aware their drawbacks and problems need to solve, and finally help them to produce a work of their own.

去加拿大艾米莉卡爾藝術(shù)設(shè)計大學(xué)一個月中學(xué)了很多媒體設(shè)計方面的知識,了解了很多國外文化,同時也無形中提高了自己的口語水平,感覺這種性質(zhì)的學(xué)習(xí)經(jīng)歷非常好。
One-month learning experience in Emily Carr University of Art & Design enables me to gain much knowledge in major of Communication Design. I have accessed to the western culture and at the same time enhanced my oral English skills. I believe this kind of learning experience is valuable.

在艾米莉卡爾藝術(shù)設(shè)計大學(xué)的一個月我受益匪淺。每個老師都給我無微不至的關(guān)心和照顧,以紡織學(xué)習(xí)為平臺,我在構(gòu)思和制作方面都有很大的提升,我認(rèn)為這是我人生的一大進步,在這學(xué)習(xí)的時光里我非常的開心!并且和同學(xué)們的關(guān)系越來越好,彼此互相幫助,我漸漸感受到了那種大家都是一家人的感覺。
I have learnt a lot in the one-month summer courses. Based on the Textiles learning, my ability of concept design and manipulation have greatly enhanced. I believe this is a big progress. Ireally enjoy my learning here. Also, my relationship with other students has also improved. Gradually, I have got the sense of belongings.

艾米莉卡爾藝術(shù)設(shè)計大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)的一個月來我學(xué)到了很多媒體藝術(shù)方面的相關(guān)知識,讓我對這個專業(yè)產(chǎn)生了更濃厚的興趣。我度過了十分充實的一個月,希望未來我可以運用到所學(xué)的一切,去實現(xiàn)那個我未完成的夢。
One-month study in Emily CarrUniversity of Art & Design gives me a chance to learn Media Arts and I am sure I have developed my interest in this field. I have an enriched month. I hope I can use what I have gained to fulfill my dream.

我印象深刻的是老師高超的電腦技術(shù),他教會了我如何使用軟件,帶我完成了一個又一個作品。學(xué)校的風(fēng)貌也非常不錯,充滿設(shè)計感。同學(xué)們也非常友好,我從他們身上學(xué)到了很多知識,通過他們了解當(dāng)?shù)匚幕?。我從加拿大帶回了設(shè)計知識,我很受用。
One thing impressed me most is the outstanding computer techniques of our teacher. He teaches me how to use software and guides me finish my works one by one. Besides, the academic building is artistic. My classmates are very friendly and I learned the local culture from them. I have brought the knowledge of design back to China, which I reckon is worthy and helpful.

我未來是要向藝術(shù)或者設(shè)計方面發(fā)展,這次前往艾米莉卡爾藝術(shù)設(shè)計大學(xué)夏校的目的是更多的接觸不一樣的專業(yè),然后確定我未來想要發(fā)展的方向,盡我所能的汲取知識。我還有機會觀察了一下國外的教育和中國的教育的不同點和相同點,從而方便我在未來出國讀書后在校園里更好的與老師交流學(xué)習(xí)。
I would like to develop my future in aspect of art or design so one goal of my overseas study this time is to get in touch with different majors and then help me to fix my future goals as well as gain the related knowledge. Besides, I compared the differences between the western and China education which is really valuable in helping me better communicate with teachers overseas.

在體驗異國風(fēng)情的同時我也在想我能在這里收獲什么。艾米莉卡爾藝術(shù)設(shè)計大學(xué)夏校是一個讓我能夠自我提高的機會,它為我們接觸國外教育提供了平臺。夏校的專業(yè)課程讓我深刻體會到了設(shè)計和創(chuàng)新的重要,也讓我增強了自己在專業(yè)英語方面的表達能力。我希望這類活動應(yīng)多多開展。
With enjoying the exotic atmosphere, I also think about what I have gain from this summer school. The summer school in Emily Carr University of Art & Design enables me to improve myself and provide me with the platform of accessing the western education. The courses here emphasis the importance of design and innovation and help me developed my English skills in the subject field. I hope I can have more chance to join such programs.
