喜報(bào)-深圳（南山）中加學(xué)校4名應(yīng)屆畢業(yè)生喜獲Northeastern University美國東北大

截至2019年4月，我校有4名學(xué)生喜獲東北大學(xué)2019年秋季錄取，他們是： 宋越Carson、黃兆珩David 范瑞燕Ring、余晏溪Chrissy

Founded in 1898, Northeastern University located in the center of the historic, ancient and modern Boston. Northeastern University is rated as a first-tier national university by US News, which represents the highest level of American universities and ranks among the TOP 50 American universities all year round. NU is also rated by US News as the Most Selective, with a mere 18% acceptance rate for fall 2019. Northeastern is ranked 8th in the country by US News in the 2019 Best Innovative Schools rankings.

在東北大學(xué)，學(xué)生可以在拿到學(xué)位前積累大量的實(shí)習(xí)工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)。大約90%的東北大學(xué)本科生在就讀期間完成了至少一期的帶薪實(shí)習(xí)項(xiàng)目。學(xué)生可以選擇四年制學(xué)位，其中包括了兩期的帶薪實(shí)習(xí)，也可以考慮包括三期帶薪實(shí)習(xí)的五年制學(xué)位。作為世界上最為成功的合作教育項(xiàng)目，帶薪實(shí)習(xí)項(xiàng)目已經(jīng)在東北大學(xué)開展了100年，并且它還將在未來的100年中繼續(xù)幫助學(xué)生做好準(zhǔn)備迎接世界的挑戰(zhàn)。

At Northeastern University, students gain substantial work experience before receiving their diplomas. More than 90% of Northeastern undergraduates complete at least one professional co-op during their college career. Students can choose to complete their degree in four years, with the potential for two co-ops, or five years, building in time for three co-ops. As one of the most successful cooperative education programs in the world, the co-op paid internship program has been running at Northeastern University for 100 years and will continue to prepare students for the challenges of the world for the next 100 years.

帶薪實(shí)習(xí)項(xiàng)目與課堂教學(xué)相結(jié)合，使學(xué)生在畢業(yè)之前就提前涉足社會。學(xué)生可以用最多為期18個(gè)月的專業(yè)相關(guān)實(shí)習(xí)代替普通的課堂教學(xué)。為了幫助學(xué)生們?yōu)樾屡d的全球經(jīng)濟(jì)做準(zhǔn)備，實(shí)習(xí)項(xiàng)目把學(xué)生們安排在全世界2000多家的公司中，包括尼日利亞的軟飲料生產(chǎn)公司、中國的電子公司，甚至南極研究站。國際商業(yè)項(xiàng)目的特點(diǎn)是要“移居國外一年”，學(xué)生要用一個(gè)學(xué)期的時(shí)間在海外學(xué)習(xí)，用6個(gè)月的時(shí)間從事國際實(shí)習(xí)項(xiàng)目。

Co-op, combined with classroom teaching, enables students to get involved in society before graduation. Students can substitute up to 18 months of major-related internships for regular classroom teaching. To help prepare students for the emerging global economy, the internship program places students in more than 2000 companies around the world, including soft drinks companies in Nigeria, electronics companies in China and even Antarctic research stations. International business program is characterized by "one-year expat programs," in which students spend a semester studying abroad and six months on an international internship program.
