Hello everyone and a warm welcome back to GIPSB!

We’ve had a great first week back and everyone has settled in well. As the International PYP co-ordinator from this semester, I’m really excited about getting more involved in school life.

大家好， 歡迎再次回到GIPSB這個溫暖的大家庭。

很高興大家都渡過了愉快而順利的開學(xué)第一周。從這個學(xué)期開始，作為學(xué)校的外方協(xié)調(diào)員，我很激動能夠更多地參與到學(xué)校的教學(xué)管理與生活中來。

I believe our school is truly unique; our integration of East and West means that we can offer our students the best of both worlds, nurturing their roots in Chinese culture and their international-mindedness simultaneously.

我相信我們的學(xué)校是獨一無二的，中西合璧的教育理念意味著我們能給學(xué)生提供一流的教育，我們重視中國文化的傳承，亦注重學(xué)生國際情懷的培養(yǎng)。

This semester, one of the key changes in GIPSB is that our foreign teachers will be not only teaching English and UOI but will also be delivering our curriculum with the Chinese teachers: art, music, PE and drama!

本學(xué)期我們在課程方面會有一個重要的改變：我們的外籍教師除了教授英語和UOI探究課程以外，還將與中方教師一起教授課程，包括藝術(shù)，音樂，體育和戲劇等。

Our students can benefit from a truly international experience, developing their language skills further and also learning about performing arts and physical education from a different cultural perspective. The students have all met their teachers this week and are already really enjoying themselves. Our teachers are also really eager to work with the students and teach new subjects in the school.

我們的學(xué)生也將從這樣國際化的課程中受益良多，這不僅能進(jìn)一步提高他們語言能力，還能從不同的文化視角學(xué)習(xí)藝體課程，豐富文化素養(yǎng)和國際情懷。孩子們本周都已經(jīng)見到了所有的外教老師，老師們熱情投入，師生之間相處得也非常愉快。
