訊得達(dá)國(guó)際書院“美式”新校區(qū)完美亮相！

今年九月注定會(huì)成為訊得達(dá)國(guó)際書院重要一學(xué)年的開端。

As final preparations are made for the grand opening of our new exclusive campus, Sendelta is also poised to celebrate its formal transformation from one of Shenzhen’s top international programs into a fully-fledged international school.

我們正在為新校區(qū)的隆重開幕做最后的準(zhǔn)備，訊得達(dá)自己也在準(zhǔn)備著慶祝從深圳頂尖的國(guó)際教育項(xiàng)目之一轉(zhuǎn)變成一所成熟的國(guó)際學(xué)校。

While we will miss the place that has become our home these past years, No.2 Xin Sha Street, the transition to our new campus presents our staff and students many new opportunities certain to carry our prestige to new heights.

值此訊得達(dá)國(guó)際書院新校區(qū)即將啟用之際，我們會(huì)懷念陪伴我們多年的新沙街2號(hào)，但更重要的是，我們的教職員工和學(xué)生將迎來更多新的機(jī)會(huì)把訊得達(dá)國(guó)際書院推向新的高度。

我們的新家

When complete, the new facility will be able to accommodate as many as 1,200 students, including both our middle school and high school divisions. About half the campus is dedicated toward dormitory and athletic facilities, including three regulation-size basketball courts, a miniature soccer field suitable for five-against-five matches, and a badminton court. Sitting on the other half is the school itself, which consists of two classroom buildings A and B, and C the administrative center.

新校區(qū)最終建成之后，將可以容納1200名學(xué)生，屆時(shí)我們的初中部和高中部都將可以在同一校區(qū)上課。新校區(qū)整體由兩部分組成，其中約有一半的區(qū)域用來做學(xué)生宿舍和運(yùn)動(dòng)場(chǎng)，運(yùn)動(dòng)場(chǎng)包括3個(gè)籃球場(chǎng)，1個(gè)五人制足球場(chǎng)，以及1個(gè)羽毛球場(chǎng)。學(xué)校的另一半?yún)^(qū)域?yàn)橛蓛蓷澖虒W(xué)樓和一棟行政中心組成的學(xué)校主體。

The New Neighborhood 新鄰里

Our future campus will be conveniently located just a short thirty-minute drive from the city’s central business district, also accessible via a school-provided shuttle from Xili metro station (Line 7).

我們的新校區(qū)交通非常方便，距離市中心商業(yè)區(qū)僅需30分鐘車程，且我們?cè)谖鼷惖罔F站還安排有校車接送。

Southwest of the campus is the Tiegang Reservoir and just to the East is the Yangtaishan Forest Park.

學(xué)校的西南面是秀美的鐵崗水庫(kù)，東面則是綠樹成蔭的羊臺(tái)山森林公園。

Teaching Facilities 教學(xué)設(shè)施

The new school will have 53 classrooms in total, 47 standard rooms built to seat classes of 20-25 students, and 6 large rooms that can accommodate as many as 60 kids for special gatherings.

新校區(qū)將會(huì)有53間教室，其中47間為可容納20-25名學(xué)生上課的小教室，6間為可容納60名學(xué)生的大教室。

Outside the classrooms, our hallways will be filled with plants and comfortable chairs conducive to a fun and social atmosphere that helps students relax and feel at home even while taking classes during the day.

在教室外面，我們的走廊將通過擺放綠植盆景以及舒適的座椅來營(yíng)造一種有趣和開放的氛圍，幫助學(xué)生放松身心，讓學(xué)生即便是白天在上課也會(huì)有在家的感覺。

Art & Sports Facilities 藝術(shù)和體育設(shè)施

An entire floor of one of our buildings is being devoted to art and music facilities. There will be 3 art rooms, 2 music rooms, a dance studio, and 10 sound-proofed individual practice rooms. With this surge in resources available to our art and music students, we expect to welcome a rapid expansion of our art and music course offerings. We also look forward to our talented students making full use of these facilities to stage many spectacular public exhibitions and performances.

我們把一棟教學(xué)樓的整層樓用作我們的藝術(shù)和音樂中心。這里將會(huì)有3間藝術(shù)教室、2間音樂教室、1間舞蹈室，以及10間單人隔音練琴房。未來隨著我們的藝術(shù)和音樂學(xué)生的大量增加，我們預(yù)期會(huì)快速擴(kuò)張我們的藝術(shù)和音樂課程。同時(shí)，我們還希望更多有天賦的學(xué)生能充分利用這些區(qū)域設(shè)施，舉辦更多精彩的公共展覽和演出。

In addition to the soccer, badminton, and basketball facilities mentioned earlier, the new campus will have ample facilities to allow students and staff to stay fit. In case of rain, there is an indoor gymnasium suitable for basic calisthenics during PE class. Next to that is an indoor fitness area complete with multiple types of exercise equipment, free weights, a space for fencing, and two squash courts

.除了前面提到的足球場(chǎng)、羽毛球場(chǎng)以及籃球場(chǎng)等設(shè)施之外，在新校區(qū)還有更多的體育設(shè)施來滿足學(xué)生和教職員工鍛煉身體的需求。我們有一個(gè)室內(nèi)體育館用于保障惡劣天氣時(shí)學(xué)生體育課的基本活動(dòng)，附近還有一個(gè)擁有多種健身器材的室內(nèi)健身室，包括舉重區(qū)，擊劍區(qū)和兩個(gè)壁球室。

Boarding Facilities 住宿設(shè)施

The future living spaces of our students are being designed to maximize comfort and productivity. There will be four students assigned to a room, each given his or her own bed and working space.

新校區(qū)的學(xué)生宿舍設(shè)計(jì)得非常舒適、便捷。學(xué)生宿舍為4-6人間，每個(gè)人都有獨(dú)立的床鋪和書桌，給學(xué)生提供最舒適的住宿環(huán)境。

The dormitory itself will sit on top of the canteen, situated on the first floor of the same building.

Common Areas 公共區(qū)域

To foster a sense of school spirit and comradery among our faculty and student body, we’ve designed several large spaces to be shared by everyone.

為了在我們的老師以及學(xué)生之間建立一種學(xué)校集體意識(shí)和情誼，我們?cè)O(shè)置了幾個(gè)大型的公共共享空間。

In terms of food, there will be two alternatives to the canteen. The first is a DIY (do-it-yourself) station will be available for quick, on-the-go meals or snacks. The other will be an enormous Western-style café area.

我們有專注美食的餐廳，這個(gè)餐廳將具備兩種功能。第1種功能是一個(gè)DIY空間，學(xué)生在這里將可以自己親手制作一些速成的食物和零食。另一種功能是一個(gè)大型的西式咖啡廳，供老師、學(xué)生放松休閑。

There will be a two-level, 800 square meter library on the first floor of Building A, complete with ample seating for self-study, class meetings, and group work. Housed within the library are a computer lab and second-hand bookstore.

在教學(xué)樓A棟一樓會(huì)有一個(gè)越層、800平米的圖書館，學(xué)生在這里可以自習(xí)、開班會(huì)或者團(tuán)隊(duì)討論。圖書館內(nèi)還有專屬的房間用于電腦房及二手書店。

Across from the library will be two rooms for public gatherings, the auditorium and theater, both equipped with professional audio and lighting equipment and able to seat approximately 200 guests each.

在圖書館對(duì)面有兩個(gè)大房間，這里是學(xué)校的集會(huì)室，大禮堂和小劇場(chǎng)，每個(gè)房間都配備了專業(yè)的音響、燈光設(shè)備且每個(gè)房間都設(shè)置了約200個(gè)座位。

While we have enjoyed our time here at Futian Experimental, we’ve now outgrown our present home and like the industrious but limited caterpillar, must now prepare for our inevitable transformation into something far more beautiful and capable. We welcome you all to accompany us on what is certain to be a very interesting year to come.
