WhilewearealltiedtogetherthroughSAIEwewillallbeseparatedshortlyaseachoneofuscontinuesonourjourney.Someofuswillmeetagain,whileforothersthiswillbeoneofourlasttimestogether.Whatismostimportanttorememberwhenyouleavehereistorememberthosefriendsyouhavemadeandrememberallofthefuntimesthatyouhadhereovertheyears.Ialsohopethatyouwillremembersomeoftheknowledgethatyouhavelearnedalongtheway.

Youarepreparingyourselvesfortheadventureoflife.Someofus;manyofuswillbecrossingoceanstomeetthechallengeoflifethatawaityou.Donotspoiltheopportunitythathasbeenaffordedtoyou,theopportunitythatyouhaveearned.Yourschool,yourparents,yourteachers,yourfriends,andyourselfhavecontributedtoyoursuccessuptothispoint,butwecantakeyounofurther.Thisisasfarasthisshipcansail.Therearemanypathsandchoicesthatlayahead,youandonlyyoumustchoosefromthepathsthataresetbeforeyou.Asyouchoosefromthevariouspaths;choosewisely,assomepathsmayleadyoubacktowhereyoubeganandyouwillbegivenanotheropportunitywhileotherpathswillleadtoanirreversibleonewaystreetandthatisaroadyouneverwanttofindyourselfon.Itisnowuptoyoutotakethetoolsyouhaveandusethem,andapplythemtoyourfutureendeavors.Themotherbirdisnowpushingherchildrenoutofthenest,anditistheirtimetofly.Someofusinthisroomwithcrosstheoceanmanytimes,someofusmaynotbereturningtoChinaforalongtimetocome,onlyyouknowwhatyourlifewillbeasitisinyourhandsnow.Makethemostofit.

引領(lǐng)自己穿越變革
尊敬的家長(zhǎng)們,同事們,親愛(ài)的同學(xué)們,親愛(ài)的博納畢業(yè)班同學(xué)們,祝賀你們用自己的努力,近兩年來(lái)高強(qiáng)度的訓(xùn)練和學(xué)習(xí),穿越了時(shí)空,地理與學(xué)術(shù),從博納學(xué)校走向了卓越,成為了世界一流大學(xué)的準(zhǔn)學(xué)生,祝賀你們!
我的寄語(yǔ)從最近兩屆博納校友在微信的直播分享開(kāi)始,我們聽(tīng)到的是諸多在大洋彼岸個(gè)人奮斗的故事。博納的學(xué)長(zhǎng)們勤奮刻苦,以每天數(shù)小時(shí)的作業(yè)扛下了美國(guó)小鎮(zhèn)了漫長(zhǎng)的嚴(yán)冬和學(xué)期。他們也有經(jīng)歷壓力很大的時(shí)候,有學(xué)長(zhǎng)不忌諱地提及自己尋求心理醫(yī)生舒緩壓力的經(jīng)歷。他們要克服語(yǔ)言不通的問(wèn)題,有學(xué)長(zhǎng)會(huì)主動(dòng)地跟美國(guó)同學(xué)交朋友,克服文化上的差異,讓個(gè)人的真誠(chéng)誠(chéng)懇去感染異鄉(xiāng)的朋友。他們要克服居住環(huán)境的不如意,因?yàn)樗麄儽壬磉叺耐瑢W(xué)學(xué)習(xí)都要刻苦,不去把時(shí)間耗費(fèi)到深夜玩游戲上。他們不斷地為自己規(guī)劃未來(lái),思考著如何一步步合理高效地完成美國(guó)本科的學(xué)業(yè)。我們聽(tīng)到的都是3.6,3.8,3.9的GPA,這些都是進(jìn)一步邁向美國(guó)頂尖大學(xué)研究生院的節(jié)奏。
我不禁要自問(wèn),是什么樣的博納教育讓畢業(yè)生們能夠在大洋彼岸展現(xiàn)出卓越和才華?
我的回答,在博納日日夜夜中,我們的兩屆畢業(yè)生已經(jīng)學(xué)會(huì)了領(lǐng)導(dǎo)自己。最簡(jiǎn)單的,博納的升學(xué)指導(dǎo)并不是全程代勞,而是用畫龍點(diǎn)睛的技術(shù)激發(fā)學(xué)生去DIY,正是這樣的高回報(bào)人力投資過(guò)程,讓我們的學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)了一分投入一分回報(bào),學(xué)會(huì)在漫長(zhǎng)的申請(qǐng)季中去管理自己,調(diào)整自己,領(lǐng)導(dǎo)自己。是的,Leadership,在博納學(xué)校你不需要官銜和稱號(hào),你就可以成為一名Leader,因?yàn)槟阍趯W(xué)會(huì)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)自己。只有領(lǐng)導(dǎo)好自己,你的未來(lái)才能引領(lǐng)變革,企業(yè)和社會(huì)!
從過(guò)去三十年起,我們一直處在一個(gè)快速變革的時(shí)代。我記得我自己獲得全獎(jiǎng)前往美國(guó)留學(xué)時(shí)僅僅念想著當(dāng)一名物理學(xué)家。殊不知,1992年柏林墻倒塌,前蘇聯(lián)解體,冷戰(zhàn)結(jié)束,在加上1987年美國(guó)股市的暴跌,我面前的世界是我們毫無(wú)準(zhǔn)備的世界。我和很多美國(guó)同學(xué)一樣在異鄉(xiāng)面臨著艱難的轉(zhuǎn)型,否則多年的高等教育的延伸線就是失業(yè)。想象一下,這對(duì)一位從僵化體制走出來(lái)留學(xué)生是多么大的挑戰(zhàn)。我記得,改革開(kāi)放初期國(guó)內(nèi)也經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)大學(xué)畢業(yè)生失業(yè)的現(xiàn)象,但那時(shí)的人們只會(huì)抱怨“學(xué)得再好不如有一個(gè)好爸爸“。思路決定出路,轉(zhuǎn)型成為了時(shí)代的主旋律。在轉(zhuǎn)型中,我們不知不覺(jué)地學(xué)會(huì)了領(lǐng)導(dǎo)自己,從而我們學(xué)會(huì)了領(lǐng)導(dǎo)變革。
博納畢業(yè)班同學(xué)經(jīng)歷一番洗禮,即將升入畢業(yè)班的同學(xué)也將經(jīng)歷這樣一番吃苦的過(guò)程。吃苦是我們中華文化的底蘊(yùn)。但是苦有生活之苦和學(xué)習(xí)之苦。生活在富裕年代的同學(xué)可以減少生活之苦,但是從博納走向卓越,我們依然要經(jīng)歷學(xué)習(xí)之苦。我借助引用的一段話告訴同學(xué)們成才道路上的學(xué)習(xí)之苦。“生活的苦可以被疲勞麻痹,被娛樂(lè)轉(zhuǎn)移,無(wú)論如何只要還生存著,行尸走肉也可以得過(guò)且過(guò),最終習(xí)以為常,可以稱之為鈍化.學(xué)習(xí)的苦在于,你始終要敏銳的觸感,保持清醒的認(rèn)知和豐沛的感情,這不妨叫銳化."
親愛(ài)的博納同學(xué)們,暑假馬上到了,大家好好的休息,享受詩(shī)與遠(yuǎn)方,當(dāng)你們仰望星空,暢想未來(lái)時(shí),別忘了你首先要領(lǐng)導(dǎo)好自己,經(jīng)得起學(xué)習(xí)之苦,才能擁有美好的未來(lái)!
