The University of Manchester, founded in 1824, is a world-renowned comprehensive research university located in Manchester, the second busiest city in the United Kingdom. One of the founding members of the Russell University Group. With almost 40,000 students, it boasts the largest student community in the UK.

Manchester Business School is the Gold Medal School of the University of Manchester and is accredited by the world’s top three academic accreditation bodies (AMBA, EQUIS, AACSB). Manchester Business School is one of the first two business schools established in the UK and one of the few earliest business schools in Europe. It was once selected as one of the top ten business school in the world.

After nearly 40 years of development, Manchester Business School has become a business school with world-renowned reputation. The British government’s RAE star rating is the highest level-super five-star in the UK, it is known as South London and North Manchester, and it is the top business school in the UK.

其商學(xué)院開設(shè)有工商管理碩士、會計(jì)、金融、計(jì)量金融、市場營銷、人力資源、國際商務(wù)、管理學(xué)等全方位課程。

Its business school offers MBA, accounting, finance, econometric finance, marketing, human resources, international business, management and other comprehensive courses.

該大學(xué)的圖書館擁有超過400萬本印刷書籍和手稿，41,000多種電子期刊和50萬本電子書。它也是僅有的五個國家級研究型圖書館之一。

The university’s library holds more than four million printed books and manuscripts, over 41,000 electronic journals and 500,000 e-books. It is also one of just five National Research Libraries.

Other notable buildings owned by the university are the Whitworth art gallery, which has benefited from a recent ￡15 million renovation。

In addition, the university also counts 25 Nobel Prize winners among its current and former staff and students.
