In Prep 3 / 小學(xué)三年級(jí)
During this time, maintaining motivation and building good routines are crucial for keeping high quality distance learning. It has been a time when teachers and parents have needed to strengthen their practices and work together to get the most out of students’ learning. In Prep 3 we have used this time to focus on developing students’ independence and their problem solving skills. Teachers have achieved this by explaining tasks on Umeet, allowing time for students to ask questions, and providing constant feedback on Seesaw and Umeet. We encourage students to revisit their work and respond to teacher feedback and even encourage parents to give their own feedback on Seesaw.
遠(yuǎn)程學(xué)習(xí)這段時(shí)間里,保持積極的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度,養(yǎng)成良好的學(xué)習(xí)習(xí)慣,對(duì)于高質(zhì)量的學(xué)習(xí)是至關(guān)重要的。老師和家長(zhǎng)需要共同努力,在不斷的實(shí)踐中最大限度地讓學(xué)生在遠(yuǎn)程教學(xué)中受益。在三年級(jí)的教學(xué)中,我們利用這段時(shí)間來(lái)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的獨(dú)立性和解決問(wèn)題的能力。老師們通過(guò)在Umeet上發(fā)布學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)并進(jìn)行講解,給學(xué)生提問(wèn)的時(shí)間并在Seesaw和Umeet上提供持續(xù)的反饋來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)這一點(diǎn)。我們鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生重新檢查自己的作業(yè),并對(duì)老師的反饋?zhàn)龀龌貞?yīng)。我們也鼓勵(lì)家長(zhǎng)在Seesaw上一起參與反饋。
Some students need more individual approaches to make sure they are making the most of their learning. To help them with this we have had individual meetings with the students to help understand their situation and needs. We have helped them to organise their study space, remove any distractions and make sure they are in the best possible environment to learn. For struggling students we have created personalised timetables, including non-school related activities that are important to them, such as saying goodbye to a family member before work or rearranging break times. This is to help students develop their indepence, by involving them in their learning process and helping them to take responsibility for their learning.
部分學(xué)生需要個(gè)性化的學(xué)習(xí)方法指導(dǎo),從而提高學(xué)習(xí)效率。為了幫助他們,我們使用Umeet平臺(tái)與學(xué)生進(jìn)行線(xiàn)上面談,幫助他們了解自己的學(xué)習(xí)需求和目前的學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài)。我們幫助孩子合理布置學(xué)習(xí)區(qū)域,消除干擾,確保在最佳的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境中開(kāi)展學(xué)習(xí)生活。對(duì)于在遠(yuǎn)程學(xué)習(xí)中存在困難的學(xué)生,我們還為他們制定了個(gè)性化的時(shí)間表并且注明重要的家庭活動(dòng),例如在上班前與家人道別或調(diào)整休息時(shí)間。我們鼓勵(lì)孩子參與整個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)過(guò)程,并讓他們學(xué)會(huì)對(duì)自己的學(xué)習(xí)生活負(fù)責(zé),孩子們的獨(dú)立性得到了提高。
We are still developing techniques, listening to students and parents to make sure we get the most out of distance learning. Parents can continue to help at home by developing routines, rewarding students for good study habits, and showing interest in students' work. We encourage parents to help students make their own daily timetables, develop reward systems and set a time at the end of every day for parents and students to review students' work. BMH students have lots to celebrate, let's make sure their hard work is appreciated.
