得益于在線(xiàn)教學(xué)所提供的靈活性，一些學(xué)生正在在線(xiàn)學(xué)習(xí)中不斷進(jìn)步。也有一些同學(xué)，似乎還不適應(yīng)與老師和朋友的距離間隔。

Dear Parents, Students, and Employees,

親愛(ài)的各位家長(zhǎng)，同學(xué)和教職員工們，

We hope you and your family are well.

愿您和您的家人保持身心健康。

We hope that school will resume smoothly, and we are still waiting for notifications and instructions from the government and education administration. The government is considering many important factors in connection with this issue.

我們希望學(xué)校能順利開(kāi)學(xué)，我們?nèi)缘却徒逃芾聿块T(mén)的官方通知和指示。政府正在統(tǒng)籌規(guī)劃、考慮與開(kāi)學(xué)問(wèn)題相關(guān)的諸多重要因素。

Meanwhile, online learning will continue until the official re-opening of the school.

同時(shí)，在正式開(kāi)學(xué)之前，在線(xiàn)學(xué)習(xí)將一直繼續(xù)進(jìn)行。

As you know, students and teachers are using video to teach, learn, and socialize together.

Perhaps “physical distancing” is a more appropriate term than “social distancing,” as we are all being very social on the Internet!

Regarding student social life, we have a fun competition led by Mr. Brian Robinson, encouraging students to share one thing they love or miss about RDFIS!

As might be expected, some students are thriving in online school, given the great flexibility it provides; others are struggling with a sense of distance from their teachers and friends.

We are continuing to make enhancements to ensure student learning continues well under these circumstances.

我們將繼續(xù)努力、不斷優(yōu)化改進(jìn)，以確保學(xué)生們繼續(xù)保持高效的在線(xiàn)學(xué)習(xí)。

* GENEROUS DONATIONS 慷慨的捐贈(zèng)

Thanks to the Adam Yuan's (11B)parents who generously donated 2,000 Masks to the school. These masks will be used to keep RDFIS teachers and students safe, and some of them were already shipped overseas to our teachers in other lands. Also, RDF also donated masks to several hospitals in the USA. It is a spirit of caring for one another as brothers and sisters that will help overcome the pandemic and heal the world.

非常感謝我們的11年級(jí)B班袁沛然同學(xué)的家長(zhǎng)，他們慷慨地向?qū)W校捐贈(zèng)了2,000個(gè)口罩。這些口罩將很好地用于保護(hù)瑞得福國(guó)際學(xué)校師生們的安全，并且其中的一些口罩已經(jīng)通過(guò)快遞運(yùn)給了目前我們?cè)趪?guó)外的老師們。此外，學(xué)校也已向美國(guó)的幾家醫(yī)院捐贈(zèng)了口罩。我們都是地球上的兄弟姐妹，大家互幫互助的精神將有利于我們更快戰(zhàn)勝疫情，治愈這個(gè)世界。
