2020年秋季招生的第二場校園開放日活動日前在劉佳校長與學術(shù)校長Mr.Neil Bunting的歡迎致辭中拉開帷幕。

劉校長在分享學校辦學方針、辦學理念與價值觀時強調(diào)，讓學生在多元文化氛圍下加強中國文化認同，為培養(yǎng)具有國際視野的全球公民打下基礎。在新時代的發(fā)展趨勢下，將科技運用與教學無縫對接，切合‘推進高新大交互’的辦學理念。

學術(shù)校長Mr.Bunting和課程協(xié)調(diào)員Mr. Reyes講解到，IB課程體系旨在培養(yǎng)具有探究式學習能力。學生通過提問進而探究答案、通過尋求解決方法進而建立知識點聯(lián)系，從而更全面地認知世界。

有家長提到最想讓孩子擁有的三樣東西是情感、品格、成功，也有家長提到健康、幸福、眼界。深圳外國語學校(龍崗)國際部寄期使學生在學術(shù)、情感、社交技能方面取得全方位的進步，這些技能也將是他們走向未來的基石。

The second SLIS Open Day in preparation for the next academic year was opened with greetings by School Director Ms.Luka Liu and Founding Principal Mr.Neil Bunting.

Ms.Liu shared the school policy, school philosophy and values, with emphasis placed on enabling students to strengthen their Chinese cultural identity and laying the foundation for cultivating global citizenship with an international perspective. In the 21st century learning, science and technology are integrated into all aspects of teaching and learning. This is crucial and connected with the SLIS philosophy of ‘studying with high-technology’.

Mr.Bunting and Mr.Reyes (PYP coordinator) explained that the IB curriculum aims to infuse a sense of purpose and a spirit of inquiry. Students endeavor to better understand the world around them by asking questions, researching answers, finding solutions and making connections.

Some parents mentioned that the three things that want their children to have are: emotion, character, and success; while other parents also mentioned health, happiness, vision.

SLIS aims that all students can make holistic progress in their academic, emotional and social skills; these skills will also be the cornerstone of their future development.

Study together, play together, grow together, relations students have made with friends and teachers will be forever, and are memories students will always cherish.
