上周末，SWIS成功舉辦了自建校以來最大規(guī)模的校際體育賽事-—2019珠三角國際學(xué)校游泳大會。

This past weekend our SWIS Community proudly welcomed 12 other schools to the PRC Swim Invitational Meet. This is the only meet of the Pearl River Conference schedule that includes all age groups – Primary (Grade 2-5), Middle School (Grade 6-8) and High School (Grade 9-12). It was a tremendous success and a wonderful chance to showcase our school and our incredible community.

In the pool, our athletes displayed their skills in a very competitive and dynamic field of athletes. The dedication and skills of our students were evident in our results with SWIS dominating in two divisions winning the overall titles in both the Grade 4/5 and Grade 6-8 categories. We also placed in the top 3 of the other divisions. Our medal count was 25 gold, 34 silver, and 26 bronze medals for our athletes.

此次游泳大會共有13所學(xué)校、超過250名選手參加，選手包括二至五年級、六至八年級以及九至十二年級三個年齡段的學(xué)生。游泳大會是珠三角國際學(xué)校體育聯(lián)盟唯一一項參賽者橫跨小學(xué)低年級到高中最高年級的大型賽事。

SWIS游泳健將們平時不懈努力和刻苦訓(xùn)練的結(jié)果在此次游泳大會上得到充分的展現(xiàn)，他們在泳池中展示了出色的勇氣和過人的技能，在眾多佼佼者中脫穎而出，取得一個又一個優(yōu)異的成績。

SWIS在4—5年級組和6—8年級組中獲得總成績第一名。在其他年級組中，SWIS最終成績均名列三甲。

2019年珠三角國際學(xué)校游泳大會SWIS的總成績?yōu)椋?5枚金牌、34枚銀牌、26枚銅牌。

A special thank you and acknowledgment to those in the SWIS community that helped with the event. With more than 40 staff, parents and administration volunteering their time we were able to host an incredibly successful event and share the strong SWIS spirit that is in our school. A special thanks to the swim coaches lead by Ms. Usha Mathapati and Ms. Sharpay Li for their work with our SWIS swimmers and their guidance in this event.

本次游泳大會得到SWIS社區(qū)的鼎力支持。報名參加義工的老師、家長、教職工總計40余人。義工們的辛勤勞動和付出，確保了本次大賽的成功舉辦。在此還要向SWIS游泳隊教練Usha老師和Sharpay老師表示由衷的感謝。SWIS傲人的戰(zhàn)績離不開教練和游泳隊員長期堅持不懈的努力!
