本周五（9月20日）SWIS校園內(nèi)舉辦了慶祝國際和平日活動。

International Day of Peace

國際和平日

On Friday, September 20th, the SWIS community celebrated the International Day of Peace.

This year at SWIS we are honoring the idea of Climate Action for Peace as the theme. This is the global theme for this year. Our students, parents, and staff members have made electronic messages of peace to share with our entire community. The Elementary School Students also dedicated a lovely song “Sing for Peace” to spread the message of peace.

In supporting the Peace Day, SWIS students had the opportunity to wear their casual clothes to school for a free dress day. This free dress occasion is being held to raise funds to support the Charity Organization Captivating International.

Secondary Celebrates Peace One Day

The Secondary division participated in Peace One Day on 20th September in a variety of ways. Many advisories watched an official video from the Peace One Day founders then reflected and discussed its contents and how they can impact the world as IB learners. Advisories also had an opportunity to make paper cranes with a goal of reaching 1,000. It was an exercise in perseverance and fun with multiple cranes being made.

International Day of Peace

本周五(9月20日)SWIS校園內(nèi)舉辦了慶祝國際和平日活動。

今年SWIS國際和平日的主題為“用行動改善生態(tài)并促進和平”，SWIS師生和家長錄制了和平主題的視頻短片在校內(nèi)播放，向社區(qū)傳播和平的意義，倡導(dǎo)和平行動。

國際日當(dāng)天，小學(xué)部學(xué)生在校內(nèi)廣場及廊橋上為社區(qū)演繹了一首歌頌和平的動人歌曲《Sing for Peace》。

學(xué)校還同時舉辦了慈善“自由著裝日”，通過慈善行動支持和響應(yīng)和平主題。當(dāng)天參加慈善捐款的SWIS學(xué)生可以不穿校服，自由著裝到校。學(xué)生的捐款將資助深圳開普威汀慈善機構(gòu)的公益項目。

中學(xué)部慶祝和平日

9月20日中學(xué)部組織了多項慶祝世界和平日的活動。學(xué)生在導(dǎo)師課上觀看了介紹世界和平日起源和發(fā)展的視頻,討論了視頻內(nèi)容，并在老師引導(dǎo)下反思IB學(xué)習(xí)者如何對所處的世界產(chǎn)生積極的影響。師生們還折疊了紙鶴，目標(biāo)是集齊1000只。制作紙鶴是一個即有趣又鍛煉耐力與堅持的過程，同時又表達(dá)了SWIS師生對和平的向往和美好愿望。
