　　Shrewsbury School was founded by Royal Charter in 1552. Over the centuries, it has grown in size and reputation and is now ranked amongst the leading co-educational boarding schools in the United Kingdom.

　　Shrewsbury School is one of the origin nine identified by the Clarendon Commission.

　　Shrewsbury School has two international school campuses in Thailand and one in Hongkong. Now it is about to open two new schools in Guangzhou (Huangpu and Nansha District).

　　Shrewsbury’s teaching and academic standards have always been at the forefront. Exceptional exam results underline the constant focus on Academic Excellence that is a trademark of Shrewsbury International School.

　　For example, in 2018, 44.8% of students' GCSE scored the highest A* , while the ratio of British native is only 6.5% (Shrewsbury's A* ratio is 7 times of British students).

　　As for A-Level, 35.4% of students reach A* and the ratio of British native is 8.1% (Shrewsbury's ratio is 4 times of British students).

　　Shrewsbury international schools have also achieved good results. The GCSE and A-level scores of students are not only superme in Thailand, but also in the world.

　　Shrewsbury’s brand new Nansha campus has been designed to make the absolute best learning experience for all its students.

　　The campus has a grass field, tennis courts, swimming pools, design centers and music centers. In addition, special classrooms and teaching equipments are set up for various disciplines (such as economics, physics, chemistry, and biology).

　　A strong faculty is the essential part of a great school. Shrewsbury has professional faculty in many areas. All the sports lessons are taught by coaches with professional sports instructors. Most of our teachers are from the UK, and all of them have master's degrees or above. The local faculty is made up of experienced teachers who have earned many National model teachers, national outstanding teachers titles.

　　It can be more than a little worrying for parents to put their trust in a new school, but at Shrewsbury, parents can put their faith in the personalised programme the school offers.

　　Shrewsbury International School mirrors the original in Britain in terms of size and approach to education.

　　The school uses small class to teach, and the secondary school has 20 students per class. In adition, the aim of our teaching is to inspire: to stimulate curiosity and interest, and to give students an understanding of what they are really good at and what they enjoy.

　　The school offers a variety of A-level courses, which will lay a solid foundation for students who would like to enter international famous universities. At the same time, school offers corresponding courses for the senior high school entrance examination and college entrance examination, providing various choices for students' future planning. In addition, rich cultural courses, such as Chinese reading and writing, English poetry appreciation and Eastern and Western aesthetics will give children a deep cultural foundation.

　　Tuition can be arranged in all orchestral instruments as well as percussion, piano, organ, guitar (classical, electrical and jazz), harp and bagpipes. All new pupils are given the chance to have one trial lesson free of charge on the instrument of their choice, in the hope that as many pupils as can will have a go at something when they arrive, irrespective of previous experience.
