MIS celebrated Christmas and the end of Term 1 with songs, games, foods and music performances during various activities. The Christmas festivities began at MIS during the first weekend of December with our annual Winter Christmas Market. 曼徹斯通城堡學(xué)校迎來(lái)了2019

圣誕市集

With twinkling lights, seasonal stalls and music shows, our Winter Christmas Market was a great way to celebrate the festive season and have fun with other MIS families and friends.

The Christmas themed stalls this year ranged from various games, gifts, a Christmas Story Cave, students’ handcrafts, Outreach charity bazaar, MISPA stalls and delicious festive food. With music from our MIS choirs, the staff band The MerchisTones and other student bands, visitors danced and sang along.

星星點(diǎn)點(diǎn)的圣誕燈、琳瑯滿目的攤位和美妙的音樂(lè)表演……精彩的圣誕市集為曼校家庭和曼校好友們找到了打開(kāi)圣誕節(jié)的最佳方式。

今年，圣誕主題攤位包括各類趣味游戲、精美的圣誕禮物售賣、圣誕故事洞、學(xué)生手工藝品、Outreach義賣、家委會(huì)MISPA攤位和美味的節(jié)日事物。伴隨著來(lái)自曼校合唱團(tuán)，MerchisTone老師樂(lè)隊(duì)和學(xué)生樂(lè)隊(duì)的美妙節(jié)奏，嘉賓們一起唱和、舞動(dòng)。

小學(xué)圣誕演出

MIS Juniors Choir took the stage to show their singing skills and piano and ukulele playing to entertain the parents in the festive season.

Our youngest learners from KS1 entertained all with their production “Snowman at Sunset”.

在鋼琴和尤克里里的伴奏下，曼校小學(xué)合唱團(tuán)在圣誕季獻(xiàn)上了一臺(tái)精彩的演出。

而KS1的學(xué)生們則以別開(kāi)生面的音樂(lè)劇《Snowman at Sunset》贏得大家的贊賞。

Hard Rock Hotel Tree Lighting Ceremony & British Chamber Christmas Event

硬石酒店圣誕樹(shù)點(diǎn)燈儀式與英商會(huì)圣誕活動(dòng)

The Juniors and Seniors choirs sang beautifully on Friday 6 December at the Hard Rock Hotel. Well done to our boys and girls and of course to Mr Wright and Mr Ang. Thank you to all the parents who came along to support our very talented singers. Then on Wednesday 11 December some of the choir “Schola Cantorum” were invited to open the British Chamber 2019 Christmas Event. It is a busy and tiring time of year for our choirs, but they perform at each event with a big smile and sing so beautifully, no wonder they are in such high demand.

12月6日星期五，我校小學(xué)及中學(xué)合唱團(tuán)在硬石酒店為觀眾們帶來(lái)動(dòng)人的曲目表演，感謝教師John Wright、Jon Ang，及我校的所有表演學(xué)生們，同時(shí)感謝所有參加了此次活動(dòng)的家長(zhǎng)，感謝你們的支持。在12月11日星期三，我校合唱團(tuán)部分學(xué)生受邀前去參加英商會(huì)圣誕活動(dòng)的開(kāi)場(chǎng)表演。這段時(shí)間我校合唱團(tuán)雖忙于各類表演活動(dòng)，但他們以最大的熱情和最專業(yè)的精神，為觀眾帶來(lái)優(yōu)美的樂(lè)曲演唱。

Festival of Carols and Reading

圣誕唱頌

One of the most highly-anticipated concerts in MIS is the ‘Festival of Carols and Reading’. The festival choir included more than 50 voices from Seniors and Juniors, interspersed with audience singing and reading. MIS parents and friends of MIS joined to watch.

作為曼校參與人數(shù)最多的音樂(lè)會(huì)之一，“圣誕唱頌”也在圣誕季帶來(lái)了精彩的演出。唱詩(shī)班由50多名中學(xué)合唱團(tuán)組成，跟隨著天籟之聲，觀眾們亦加入了唱誦之中。家長(zhǎng)們也沉浸其中。
