At Merchiston International School we believe in providing deserving students with the opportunity to experience the best British international education in a culturally diverse environment. Thus, as part of the MIS Scholarship Programme, we are now accepting applications for A Level scholarships for 2019-2020.

Who is eligible to apply?

· 準(zhǔn)備入學(xué)十二年級(jí)的A Level(英國(guó)普通中等教育證書(shū)考試高級(jí)水平課程)學(xué)生。

· 持有國(guó)外綠卡的學(xué)生。

· 具有較高學(xué)術(shù)/音樂(lè)/體育成就和英語(yǔ)水平的學(xué)生。

· 溝通能力和領(lǐng)導(dǎo)能力突出的學(xué)生。

· 積極參與課外活動(dòng)的學(xué)生，比如體育，表演藝術(shù)或其他活動(dòng)。

· Students entering Year 12 (A Level)

· Students holding foreign identification

· Students with demonstrated high academic / music / sports achievement and English fluency

· Students with good communication skills and leadership attributes

· Students with active participation in co-curricular activities including sports, performing arts and other events

How to apply

Step 1 – Contact MIS for the application form and gather the necessary documentation. Before you begin to complete the application, make sure to prepare the following documents which you will submit in the first section of the application form.

Step 2 – Write your personal statement, a 300-word essay. Title: The Merchiston motto is "Ready Ay Ready”. What does this mean to you?

第三步：請(qǐng)完成申請(qǐng)表格，附上PDF格式的個(gè)人陳述信，郵件發(fā)送至招生部(聯(lián)系方式附后)。

Step 3 – Complete the application form and attach your personal statement as a PDF file.

第四步：(僅限獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金候選人)深圳曼徹斯通城堡學(xué)校會(huì)邀請(qǐng)候選人來(lái)校完成獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金評(píng)估，同時(shí)參加學(xué)校對(duì)學(xué)生個(gè)人和家人的面試。

Step 4 – FOR SHORTLISTED APPLICANTS ONLY – Shortlisted applicants will be invited to visit MIS to sit the scholarship assessment and attend an individual and family interview.

Merchiston International School (MIS) in Shenzhen is the first overseas campus of Merchiston Castle School, a top-ranked independent school located in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK with a glorious history of over 188 years. MIS is also the first international school in Shenzhen providing a British education and boarding system.

Located in Longhua District in the north of Shenzhen city, MIS occupies a ground space of 20,000 square metres providing a building area of 50,000 square metres, which can accommodate 1,200 students with a maximum class size of 22. The school accepts boys and girls aged from 4-18.
